    My wife and I became ill 24 hours after taking a flight from the US to the ADD airport in Ethiopia. From there where we were allowed access to the silver lounge where we ate and then proceeded to get on another Ethiopian flight to Johannesburg.     Two days after the flight I started having severe diarrhoea and high fever (up to 40 degrees). Turned out after an hospitalisation that it was Shigella.
