“I usually go to this store and buy things pretty regularly. So today, 5-4-21, I bought a southwest chicken burrito bc I wanted something quick, I know not ideal from there. So on my break I warmed it up and took a couple bites and it tasted really funny. I cut the light on in my car a found that the... burrito was covered in mold. At this point in losing it and go back to the store and tell them what I found out. Nothing to serious happened as of now just felt nauseous a little bit that was probably more mental than anything else! ”

Almost 24 hours before any relief, then it actually gets worse from hour 24 to 36 with major joint pain immobilizing me completely.
Shame on the manager for trying to give coupons when he asked for a refund. Shame on upper management for contacting him for personal info instead of trying to find and clean up their dangerous mess. ”

“The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) announced they are investigating multiple outbreaks of norovirus around the New Mexico State. Norovirus is a highly contagious disease often called the “stomach flu” with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, and it is spread easily from person... to person.
NMDOH advises to prevent norovirus spread is frequent handwashing, highlighted that hand sanitizer does NOT work against norovirus. Also recommending precautions be taken, especially around the very young, the elderly, and those at any age with weakened immune systems because they are at risk for more serious illness due to norovirus infection.
If you develop nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach cramping stay home if possible and contact your healthcare provider before seeking medical care so as not to expose others to norovirus in the waiting room. Where possible, don’t go to work or school until 48 hours after symptoms have completely gone away.
If you do not have a medical provider or have other questions, you can contact the Department of Health through the Epidemiology and Response Division in Santa Fe at the 24/7 phone number: 505-827-0006.
