The whole hotel seems superficially nice but it is not. I had the worst experience I ever made. It started that the rooms are wet, aircondition is not working properly, employees open in the night your door.

But the worst thing was the food poison from a … See More
hamburger at a food truck at the beach. My girlfriend and me shared one hamburger and 3 hours later the nightmare started, i lost consciousness, diarrhea, vomiting, maximal pain you cannot imagine. Also my girlfriend had the same symptoms. We had no other food than in this hotel, no food at the airport before, stayed already 4 days in the hotel, we wash and sanitize regulary before eating our hands. So no discussion that this could come from somewhere else.

The medical service costs for some tablets and electrolyt water 336 Dollars.
When I complained about the food poisoning no one took me for serious and they told me if not all other guests have it, it can be everything.

I contacted guest service (which does not care about guests but about sending them away). I gave them my medical report but they were not interested in.

No luck. I asked for the General Manager Jorge de la Vieja. The guest service manager called and repeated in spanish: oh you don’t want to meet them?
Wow! Here they do everything to unsatisfy the guest.
I do not recommend this hotel and also not the way treating guests. As long as you pay everything is fine but when you have a problem you get ignored.

So the whole answer from the General Manager shows again that they are not interested in solving the problem, tell you they are not responsible and want to make you believe you got the food poison from somewhere else. They even do not check the bad food to avoid that other guests can get it.

There were already 10 people in Punta Cana died in a hotel from food posion and they take it that serious : zero! Thanks for playing with our health and live and try to put away the responsibility.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

Stayed with the family for 10 days in the family part. Location and facilities are nice. Rooms are not huge but okay for family of 4. Not much place to store clothes.
Avoid however going in the weekend, because huge groups from DR enter the hotel and … See More
the hotel has no capacity to deal with that. I guess hotel needs the cash and do whatever it takes. And when it comes to food, drinks, transportation it is whoever pushes most goes first, no lines. We ended up waiting for whatever was left, things running out quickly. No glasses, no cutlery, nothing. When complaining about this, staff from guest service insulted me of discrimination and became aggressive, also telling me the hotel was only half full. This guy is not worth a job in guest services, wrong attitude from the first second. If half full would avoid the high season!
Hotel has various restaurants, apart from the teppanyaki we found it just average, and for some reason all got stomach problems. Frappuccino was our favorite. For a la carte you normally have to wait and we noticed some people got special treatment ( for whatever reason) which was annoying also.
My take: hotel 4 stars, food 2 stars and no stars during the weekend.  | Symptoms: Stomach Pain
