“I felt fine the first three days of our vacation. Wednesday evening we ate at the Poseidon restaurant at the resort. After about two hours I was in bed with severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. It lasted the rest of our vacation and two days when we got home.

“9 of us went there December 12 n left the 13 2020 n four adult got sick included a 7 month old pregnant woman we had jerk chicken for lunch the symptoms started the same night we all had diarrhea n stomach craps for the whole week 2 of us had to go to the doctor it was the worst week of my life See Less”

“The food at the jerk hut. We checked out on the 13th which was a Sunday. There were 4 adults and 4 children travelling together. All but one adult got sick. Symptoms started the same night but worsened on the 14th for all of us. It happened The week of December 14, 2020 See Less”

“My 23-month old daughter ended up with severe diarrhea while staying here from 12/23 to 12/30. She developed symptoms on 12/28 that progressively got worse as the days wore on. Luckily she has been checked out by her Doctor in the US and she is now OK but her digestive system is still not back to no... See Morermal judging by the quality of her poop.
My wife also had a less severe case of diarrhea so we are pretty confident it was food poisoning.
The absolute worst part of this ordeal is we took our daughter to the on-site nurse and she was absolutely not helpful. She did not help arrange for any electrolyte fluid and instead reminded us seeing a doctor was going to incur a $180 charge!!!!! Could not wait to get the hell out of there!

“It was terrible. My boyfriend and I went to Jamaica for a friends wedding and we got food poisoning. We stayed at the resort. Couldn’t event enjoy the vacation. We had chronic diarrhea, fever and terrible abdominal pain that would not go away. We had absolutely no energy. We went to the gift shop to... See Moreget Gatorade to try to keep ourselves hydrated and the next day we went back for more and there was absolutely no Gatorade left (there was so much left the day before).....We had a feeling that it wasn’t just us who had gotten food poisoning. We booked our trip from December 12 to December 16. The flight for our departure on 12/16 got cancelled and rescheduled to the next day because of a snow storm so we had to stayy one more day. I cried my eyes out because I just wanted to go home! We didn’t want to say anything because we were terrified that the resort would think we had COVID and keep us there for 14 days....The worst experience ever!!! See Less”

“My fiancé and I were at the resort December 11-13th and on the 13th we started experiencing diarrhea. We are back home now and we’re diagnosed with salmonella. We’ve been dealing with it ever since. The resort has been extremely apologetic and is willing to compensate us for this. See Less”
