I got rid of the container knowing it wasn't as it should be …
and woke up not feeling well. My lower and upper abdomen were extremely swollen and I had horrible cramping as the day progressed I felt worse and worse and my stomach was really messed up.
That evening I opened another container of Fairlife and it had the same odd after taste. I'll be honest because I've never had an issue I still didn't think this was the cause of my issue, in fact I thought my taste was off!
I spent the next few days staying away from straight milk but was using in my coffee and my lattes but was insanely bloated. My husband and I were thinking something was horribly wrong because I looked several months pregnant and had to wear leggings to work Friday. The whole situation was extremely unusual.
My daughter had a cookie and asked for some milk. Upon taking a sip she asked if if it was a different milk and I knew then that it wasn't my tastebuds it was the milk. She said she too felt it had a strange taste... luckily she only had a sip.
I've been absolutely miserable. My clothes don't fit due to bloating, I still have cramps and diarrhea. Both containers were good until June and are from batch 26-207. My husband suggested I check for recalls, come to find that the company has had hundreds of people get sick from this batch and denies issuesz I also learned that they have a lawsuit in regards to animal cruelty which is good to know. not the first time the Lucky Charms illness has struck. I’ve been suspicious of the cereal’s association to this affect in the past but didn’t feel certain until of the connection until today. I usually eat two bowls of cereal but my primary gotos are FrostedFlakes and FrostedMiniWheats. I eat the lucky charms from my kids’ supply when I don’t have my gotos available. My kids are little and only eat smaller portions. I’m done buying this stuff for them—something is up with the cereal’s ingredients. I started experiencing intestinal cramps. Then, when we got back to the hotel, the nausea started. That's when my spouse told me she had been feeling ill as well. She was the first to vomit and I followed there after. We struggled to finish packing for the morning flight. We only had fluids in the form of water and apple juice for the entire journey. She only experienced nausea, intestinal cramps and vomiting. I on the other hand had all the symptoms including chills, nausea, intestinal cramps, vomiting, fever and diarrhea. My condition gradually improved, and three days later I'm back to normal.
