Yesterday, Friday, November 17th, 2023, at 6:08 PM, my husband and I shared a Chicken Finger Plate at Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings, 2205 Cobb Parkway Southeast, Smyrna, GA, USA. Nine hours later, my husband was nauseous, vomiting, diarrhea, chills, fever, abdominal pain, and extreme joint pain as well. I only have headaches, nausea, abdominal pain, and a sore throat. All of these symptoms are signs of salmonella poisoning. I do not want to have to leave a bad report. However, this is no joke. Thankfully we are young with good health so it should pass within the week. I do not believe that Zaxbys is following the rules and protocols to ensure the health of its customers. This meal is the only food we’ve eaten out of the ordinary, so I’m confident it’s the cause. I have to contact the local health department when they open on Monday. Was it Raisin Bran Crunch or regular Raisin Bran. There is a difference!! I assume Crunch because here in Northern Colorado I haven't been able to get get regular Raisin Bran at Sams Club or WalMart for several months. I have not gone looking for it in all the local stores but have not seen it in months. Raisin Bran Crunch has a different smell and something is different about it. It causes me to feel slightly nauseated and I had to give away the box I bought by mistake recently. Crunch is just bad for some of us. Kellogg's need to make regular R.B. available.
