What is Gastritis?

Gastritis is inflammation of the stomach lining that can be acute or chronic but can be treated using acid reducers like antacid, or antibacterial medication if the condition was triggered by bacteria. Common symptoms are bloating, indigestion, loss of appetite, vomiting, black stool, and more.

was up on Sunday morning early with diarrhea and last night (Sunday) I developed gastritis and was so nauseated, bloated, flatulent and crampy with body aches. There’s a constant burning feeling in my stomach. It’s Monday morning and I’m still in pain. I barely slept last night or Saturday night for all of the pain. I feel so sick. Ordered around 9pm last night via GrubHub. Within 2 hours of eating, I had violent vomiting and diarrhea. Went to the ER early in the morning. don’t take any responsibility, but they did allow me to make a report at public relations. My daughter who is 12 and I (46) were I’ll with vomiting, terrible, terrible diarrhea and nausea and stomach cramps. Texas, diagnosed me with E-Coli, I was hemorrhaging!! This was NOT the normal traveler's stomach revenge. Glad I flew home!!!! May have contracted this thru a 3 meat dish I was given at a day camp. But 70 of us ate this and I'm the only one with this condition. It could have been that I picked up a frisbee thrown into the horse pen then ate with no hand washing facilities.
