Stomach Flu & Food Poisoning

Stomach flu is a nonspecific term that includes food poisoning when the source is contaminated food. It is commonly caused by norovirus which is very contagious and spreads quickly. Stomach flu symptoms range in severity and occur within hours of eating. They include diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting.

i ate the bacon ranch burger with a peanut butter sundae which was fine until i started throwing up really badly at work, now at home ive been constantly going to the bathroom for maybe 3-4hrs now repeating the same cycle. potentially got a stomach flu since the only missing sympton would be nausea  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Nausea

started feeling weird. About 2-3 hours later we started getting nauseous and started experiencing bubbly gut and cramping. My husband immediately had to use the bathroom and had diarrhea as well as I. The following day our symptoms worsened to the point we thought we had a stomach flu. I went to the doctor today, 07/27/23 and was told it was food poisoning caused by someone who didn't wash their hands or had fecal matter on their hands and prepared our food. I will have missed 2 1/2 days of work due to this. soup from the same restaurant on December 13 (3 days ago). I spilled half of my soup and only ate half of what was remaining but that afternoon I developed stomach cramps and diarrhea. It has lasted several days. Not as severe but are a smaller amount. “vegan” burger. Well I had to walk inside and ask for my meal, upon discovering they were rushing since they forgot about me. Ever since, I have been feeling SEVERE: -Nausea -Projectile vomiting -Diarrhea -Stomach cramps -Hot flash/Cold flash -Chills -Headache -No appetite -Dehydration UPDATE: Not only are these symptoms SEVERE, like the worst pains of my life, but I just vomited my only food up. Because I feel like DEATH for the last 24 hours, and the symptoms only getting worse, I will be visiting an urgent care by morning. I chatted with my doctor and it was confirmed that I have stomach flu/food poisoning based on symptoms alone. After further research, you can also see that they uses 21 chemicals in their meat. It’s public information, and very disturbing to find this out. DO NOT EAT AT HERE. I threw my receipt in the trash once I got home, because that’s what I always do with fast food. I’ve never had a severe poisoning before like this one, and I don’t plan on it again. Dumping fast food completely after this.
