day. I called my Dr, he told me to take Imodium after each loose stool and prescribed me Zofran for the nausea and vomiting. This was on a Friday, I missed work half a day on Thursday and all day Friday. I didn’t eat much over the weekend, I rested and took the Zofran for nausea. I went back to work Monday and felt nauseous all day, I only ate a yogurt. That night I ate rotisserie chicken and carrots from Walmart and immediately threw it up. I threw up and had diarrhea for several hours. My stomach started hurting and cramping severely. I took pepto bismol twice, threw it up both times, took the Zofran, threw it up. My husband took me to the ER at 11:30 pm, I was running a high fever, could not stand up straight, was doubled over in severe pain. I was admitted for Colitis and Diverticulitis, which I had never had before. Because I had not been eating I was also in ketoacidosis and my Dr said if I had not went to the hospital when I did I would have been dead by morning. I was in the hospital in ICU for 3 days on IV fluids and IV antibiotics, unable to eat and in severe pain. After I got to come home I had to be on a liquid diet for 2 weeks, I lost 7 lbs during the 3 days I was in ICU and I will never eat there ever again.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps, Fever
