I visited Chilis on Friday, May 5th for Cinqo de Mayo celebrations. I drank a margarita and had steak fajitas which included strip steak, guacamole, tomatoes, onions, peppers, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, chips & salsa. Immediately my stomach began to hurt, but I just thought the pains were from eating too much food. Around 5 hours later I had trouble going to bed, came down with a fever and was tossing and turning trying to sleep. 6 hours later I woke up from my daze and ran to the bathroom where I vomited, and continued to vomit every 10-30 minutes or so throughout the night. Around 7 am I began vomiting every 10 minutes, and when I no longer had anything left to vomit I began dry heaving and was incredibly nauseous. I could not keep any liquids or solids down, and was feeling very listless and dehydrated. Around 11 am, when I had vomited nearly 50 times by then, my boyfriend and I decided to go to Urgent Care. I was still incredibly nauseous and was walking around with my bathroom trash can because I was still 'trying' to vomit every 5-10 minutes, even in the waiting room at Urgent Care. They gave me three dosages of nausea medicine as well as two IV drips of liquids, but after three hours they urged me to go to the Emergency Room because I was not getting better. My vomiting subsided some, puking every 15-20 minutes. At the Emergency Room they gave me one more IV drip of liquids along with two more dosages of nausea medicine and sent me on my way. The next day I was still quite exhausted, and didn't fully recover until Tuesday. I have never been so sick. | Symptoms: Fever, Nausea, Vomiting3 weeks ago •reported by user-mwgcd981
