Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache
Suspected source: Food inflight
Onset: Right away
Duration: Several days
Additional information: On 7/7/2023 me and my daughter took flight DL0323 from Ontario, Ca to Atlanta. I had not eaten anything until I boarded my... See More flight. I bought a chicken salad sandwich and also had a glass of wine and some almonds. Approximately 40 minutes later my stomach started hurting but I didn’t think much of it. Shortly thereafter I started having severe cramps and started vomiting. I put the attendant light on but the flight attendant just ignored me. Approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes later the plane landed. My daughter then stopped one of the flight attendants for help. The flight attendant and Captain had me lay down across the seats while I waited for help to arrive. I couldn’t move due to the horrible pain and from being lightheaded. The airport medics then arrived and then assisted me off the plane and they had to have me transported to the emergency room. The emergency room was extremely busy and I ended up being there for approximately 12 hours and still wasn’t able to be seen. If the ambulance hadn’t given me some Zofran I would’ve still been vomiting profusely. I ended up leaving the hospital and going to another one so that I could get some help. This whole situation caused me unnecessary pain and caused me to miss work that day. I’m still not feeling very well. Delta really should look into the food that they are giving to their customers. Apparently there is an issue with the safety of their food which is causing their customers to get sick. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Lightheaded See Less

I ordered a Baja chicken burrito. First red flag was that it was cooked and served in less than 10 minutes. The manager who was also cooking kept coming to the cash register to help cashier. Cross contamination of some sort occurred. I have been having diarrhea... See More and vomiting at the same time for the past 12 hours | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting See Less
