and again on Monday, September 26, 2022. I also had a 20 oz cup of Pepsi Cola along with my two large slices of pepperoni pizza after I added a complimentary pack of red pepper spices and parmigiana cheese condiments to each slice during my visit. I observed the water running down from the from the Minute Maid Lemonade tap water line and the Pepsi Cola tap water line in the soda fountain machine to the far right of the restaurant before I filled my cup up with Pepsi Cola soda. The water from the Minute Maid Lemonade tap water line was much crystal clearer looking than the not so clear looking water from the Mountain Dew tap water line. After I finished observing the differences between the crystal clearness of the water from each individual tap water line, I filled my cup up with Pepsi Cola soda. I wanted some water to drink and rinse my mouth out with after I finished eating. I filled my cup up with water from the Minute Maid Lemonade tap water line. The taste of the tap water was unpleasant and tasted like mildew and old metal plumbing issues existed inside the soda fountain machine’s waterline. I have experienced this same tap water quality and taste issue at other fast food restaurants as well. Sometimes I would just avoid ordering a fountain soda beverage if I knew there was a tap water quality issue with a particular soda fountain machine, or I would just bring a bottled beverage instead. My stomach is still irritated as of now, Thursday, September 29, 2022. The recall was issued due to undeclared wheat, soy, egg, milk, and tree nuts (almonds, pistachios, and coconut) in the products as a result of non-English ingredient labeling. People who … See More
have allergies to any of these run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products. Lidl US has received no reports or complaints of illness related to this product to date. The product was distributed to all Lidl US store locations in Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia.

This recall includes units with the brand, “Deluxe,” printed at the top of the front panel, and “Party Edition” at the bottom of the front panel (back panel of package will not have English labeling or ingredients). All units have a barcode/UPC of 4056489365365.

Affected products contain the following undeclared allergens:
Wheat, Soy, Egg, Milk, Tree Nuts (Almonds, Pistachios, Coconut)

The issue was internally discovered after delivery to our stores. If customers have purchased this product, they should not consume it, and immediately return it to their nearest Lidl store for a full refund (a receipt is not required for return).

the Candied Whopper Meal combo. I don't usually eat fast food, but I was pressed for time. I ignored the rude drive thru workers because it was 9:35 pm and they closed at 10:00 pm. I thought to myself why isn't it hot if I just ordered it? I looked through it to make sure I didn't see anything odd or a weird smell. I consumed the meal and it was edible, just not the best. Approximately 5:00 am, I woke up with the worst stomach pains in my life which continued throughout the day. Later that evening, I experienced more cramps and diarrhea. The diarrhea symptoms continued until the next day along with vomiting. I hate to be graphic, but both were gray in color. I immediately called my doctor. I explained the burger was the only solid food I consumed on 02/13/2024 and I hadn't consumed anything else since. She said the symptoms are related to food poisoning and to only consume water until the symptoms go away. The bodily fluids changed from gray to almost clear. After the 4th day, the vomiting and diarrhea stopped. I was told to only consume foods like jello, apple sauce, steamed rice, etc. I called the restaurant twice to report my concerns to the manager. I'm certain I wasn't the only person in line served bad meat that day. The manager referred me to Sanlar Enterprises DBA Burger King at 252-291-5335. I left messages on 02/14/2024, 02/15/2024, and 02/16/2024 without no response. I called the restaurant again explaining I was unable to reach anyone. Again, they said it was nothing they can do. I called Sanlar Enterprises again on 02/29/2024 and was able to reach a live person. The lady remembered the messages I left and said she gave the message to Bob and assumed he called back. She said she would relay the message. After no response, I called again on 04/10/2024. I received a call back today around 5:00 pm. Bob immediately told me he was having a bad day. I told him I was sorry to hear that. He asked for the reason of my call. I explained what happened. His response was " Unless you can present a doctor's note stating BURGER KING gave you food poisoning, there's nothing I can do. Of course you're going to say MY store gave you food poisoning " and chuckled. I said: Sir, my concern is other people could have gotten sick just like me and that store needs to do a better job handling food. Most likely they didn't cook fresh burgers close to closing time. His response was " The Wilson County Health Department are in their all the time, so I don't know what else to tell you". He also said no one else got food poisoning from his store. It took 2 months to get a call back. I should have taken heed as soon as he said he was having a bad day. He could care less of the physical pain, discomfort and sick days I had to give up because of this. If Burger King Corporation has people like this representing their company, they can't get anymore of my hard earned money.
