The following items were observed to be above 41f: chicken at 44. 4f; steak at 45. 6f; sliced tomatoes at 45. 7f; chile rellenos at 47. 1f. Management voluntarily discarded approximately 8lbs of food worth $200. Instructed management to cold hold all tcs foods at 41f or colder at all times. Priority violation 7-38-005. Citation issued.

- comments: observed 2 door reach in cooler located in prep area adjacent to go service area with an ambient internal air temperature at 44. 7f. The cooler was used to store tcs foods such as chicken and sliced tomatoes. Instructed manager to repair and maintain internal temperature below 41f. Management immediately notified refrigeration service at time of inspection. Priority violation 7-38-005. Citation issued. See comments.

Suspect either the shrimp aguachile and/or Crema sauces that I ordered for dinner. The next 24hrs have been brutal. Vomiting, diarrhea, fever, chills, lots of fatigue. We visited Sayulita on 3/13 for just a few hours. Three people went mountain biking and those three were violently ill the next day. Same symptoms, vomiting, diarrhea, body aches. It was awful. We heard norovirus was going around in town. Will not be going back to Sayulita anytime soon.

I observed about 10 live small flies on the wall by the high-temperature dish machine in the prepared foods prep area and about 5 live small flies flying around the juicer machine in the fresh juice prep area. Instructed to eliminate pest activity, clean and sanitize affected areas, and recommended contacting pest control for a service. Priority foundation. Citation issued 7-38-020(a).
