Shrimp Food Poisoning

Shrimp Food Poisoning

Imported farm-raised shrimp is known to be contaminated with banned chemicals, pesticides, and injected with silicon that can cause food poisoning or worse. Uncooked shrimp can naturally contain salmonella, E. coli, vibrio, or bacillus which account for a large amount of food poisoning cases.

feeling okay-ish as me and my family was leaving. After we had gotten home, I started to feel really off, as did another family member, but I had thought that I’d eaten too much and everything would work itself out. The next day, I woke up feeling twice as bad as the previous day, and only got worse as the day progressed. Then, around 7 ish, I was sitting on my couch, curled in a ball dizzy, and nauseous, for about an hour before being violently ill over the course of the night. I wasn’t sick before, so I don’t think that it was a health related issue.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Dizziness

No one has food poisoning that fast unless you have no gallbadder. It was something you ate before. BTW, it's "my family and I" not me and my family.

Hi, thank you for your comment. TIP: It is possible for someone to get food poisoning quickly. The onset of symptoms can vary depending on the type of contamination. If the poisoning is caused by a chemical agent, the symptoms can begin within minutes. If the contamination is biological, symptoms can start within an hour, for example with Staphylococcus aureus, or can take as long as a few days after eating contaminated food. Factors such as the type of pathogen, the dose of the contaminant, individual sensitivity, and overall health can influence the timing and severity of symptoms.
