Goodbye! and best wishes in your recovery

Tuna food poisoning can occur whether eating raw tuna in sushi/poke or cooked tuna in sandwiches. In April 2019 a tuna outbreak linked to salmonella sickened 13 people after consuming contaminated sushi made from tuna. Later that year in Oct, tuna was recalled for possible scombroid poisoning.

Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Fever
    Suspected source: Uncooked hot dog
    Onset: Right away
    Duration: 12 to 24 hours
    Sick: Me
Additional information: Happened twice in one week. The second time I confirmed the food. Food Basics is a very healthy reliable place ti purchase... See More groceries. However, this time I definitely reacted to the Schneider's Red Hots (hot dogs) they sold, best-before date: Aug 2024. Last week, after beans and Schneider's Red Hots, I soon became very sick: severe nausea, throwing up, and hours of diarrhea. It started with foul-smelling burps, tasting like sulphur or rotten eggs. Fortunately it was mostly gone in 24 hours. Last night (17 Mar 2024), I had one "Red Hot" wiener again and, very soon after that, started having the sulphur burps. Now, at 4 am, I have just thrown up and feel very nauseated. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Fever See Less

11 hours ago I unfortunately went to Wetzels pretzels and had their pretzel bites. The dough seemed a bit undercooked but I didn’t think much of it. 11 hours later and I’m awoken in the middle of the night to severe stomach nausea, cramps, and diarrhea. I... I went there with my family yesterday and got myself a lamb steak. It was quite spice but really tasty though. After a few hours while sitting at home I felt heaviness on my stomach and after a short while I felt sick. I was trying to... See More not to vomit for an hour and I was hoping it will go away. Unfortunately it didn’t. When I stood up I had to run to the toilet to vomit. It made me feel better though. Rest of my family was fine. The very nice lunch ended up with a horrible evening with vomits and diarrhoea. | Symptoms: Vomiting, Diarrhea See Less

I know I got food poisoning from Taco Bell located in Jacksonville both me and my husband started feeling nauseous like as if we had to either puke or go to the bathroom. After attempting to use the bathroom (diarrhea) I figured maybe that’s what I needed... See More to feel better (same with my husband. Unfortunately that abdominal pain didn’t go away and neither did the nausea.. a few hours later I puked. I did feel better but only for 20 minutes. I felt the same pain and nausea feeling again. And it kept happening over and over. Day two by the end of day I felt better but I was almost the same so I just made sure not to do too much and rest. Same with my husband. I told my grandparents not to go to a Taco Bell because my symptoms and they didn’t believe it and got Taco Bell the next day. What happpend ? There were three of us who went to see Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks on March 9, 2024. We had floor seating. Before the show started, two of us had a frozen margarita from the bar at the rear of the floor seating. About an... See More hour later, I started getting severe stomach cramps and feeling like I needed to get to the restroom ASAP. I spent about 45 minutes in there. The first time. I started to leave the restroom on four different occasions, only to unlatch the door and feel the need to continue “the process”. After feeling like any food and beverage from the last three days had exited my body, I washed my hands and started down the hall. It was in between the two artists, so there were at least 100 ladies in line for the restroom. I saw my friend (who had the other margarita), and she was starting to feel ill at that point too. I figured it would be safe to wait in line with her once again, because by the time I got to the restroom, which looked to be at least an hour of a wait, I would probably need to go again. That time, we both spent 45 minutes to an hour in the restroom wiith severe diarrhea. We had really good seats out on the floor, but unfortunately, we probably only saw a total of about 45 minutes of the concert, because we were unable to leave the restroom. We continued to be sick until the next morning, exchanging who would be in the bathroom back at our hotel room. The third person, who did not have a margarita, never got sick. It was definitely the margarita, as we tasted something a bit off when we were drinking them. We just figured it was a different mixture of ingredients. I complained to the restroom attendant, who I got to see MUCH more than I cared to that night. I told her that we had gotten sick from the margarita. She referred me to the security manager, and pointed out who she was. When I went to her, she was completely uninterested in anything I had to say. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Cramps See Less

We ordered a cheesesteak 9 Mar (delivered after 1p.m.) that was covered with cheese whiz. Approx 8 hrs later for me, 9 hrs later for my husband, both of us became extremely nauseous, followed by vomiting and diarrhea. Also experienced cramps and an overall horrible feeling. I... See More wasn't able to finish my half of the sub, too much whiz for me, but my husband finished his...hence most likely the reason his symptoms lasted hrs well beyond mine. We checked with other family who we had eaten with at a different restaurant same day. None of them were sick, and this is the only other place we had eaten from earlier in the day. Unfortunately, we do not live in the Fairfax area, and the original packaging was left in the hotel trash can. I've noticed multiple restaurants in the area reporting illnesses. Please check on this restaurant, there are people out here with compromised immune systems, everybody can't get thru everything the same way. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting See Less
