Vegetable Food Poisoning

Vegetable Food Poisoning

Vegetables are one of the most likely sources of food poisoning. Vegetables that are usually eaten raw like lettuce are particularly high risk. Contamination can occur when being grown and also in processing. Between 1973 and 2012, 85% of the food poisoning outbreaks were caused by leafy vegetables.
