I have reported this incident to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Below is what I reported:

At about 2:45 pm on July 6, 2016 I ordered a three-piece chicken meal (with leg and thigh, mashed potatoes and fruit salad) at this California Chicken Cafe... See More location. The food wasn't as hot as usual, but I ate it anyway. This is the only food I ate this day, other than breakfast cereal and a banana earlier at my home (that I ate again yesterday and am not sick from). About 6:30 pm after leaving, I still felt the food from California Chicken Cafe in my stomach. I started to get concerned. A short time later I started vomiting. The vomiting continued on and off until about 5:00 am. I vomited about 30 times. It wasn't pleasant, so there's no need for me to go into details. I had to take off work yesterday, as I was extremely weak and ill from the whole experience.

This IS NOT THE FIRST TIME this has happened at California Chicken Cafe Northridge. Several years ago a similar incident happened to me, that I also reported to the County of Los Angeles Public Health Department. After that happened, I no longer ate at California Chicken Cafe. About a year ago I decided to give them a second chance. After this new incident, I'll never eat there again. I have only been sick after eating at California Chicken Cafe, not at other restaurants. I don't know what the problem is there, but they deserve to be shut-down. Enough is enough. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Weakness

For the second time I got food poisoning at California Chicken Cafe. I decided to give the place a second chance, thinking the first time was an isolated incident., but it happened again. Now I'll never go there again. I wouldn't recommend the place to my worst... See More enemies. Below is the report I sent to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. The "A" you see at the front entrance doesn't mean anything. They should have got an "F."

Went to Seaworld on Wednesday March 13th during spring break to relax & visited the Great White Grill at 11:45am but I ended up catching BAD food poisoning shortly after & ruined the rest of the trip for me (Grilled chicken was extra chewy, had a weird... See More taste, salty & most likely wasn’t kept at the temp it needed to be) I wouldn’t recommend that place at all!! I was there for spring break vacation with my family & couldn’t even do everything we planned due to me being stuck in my hotel most of the time! I felt very sick and had major stomach pains, horrible diarrhea, sweats, achy body & nauseous for a couple hours. It made me suffer when I should be making memories & having a fun filled day with my loved ones, unfortunately I had to end up cutting my vacation short bc I didn’t feel good for days. This is the worst case of food poisoning I ever had. Please investigate so this doesn’t happen to anybody else. Thank you for your time. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. It is a restaurant called “Great White Grill” located inside of SeaWorld in San Antonio Texas. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Sweating, Body Ache See Less

About 24 hours ago on March 12th I purchased chicken breast at Publix on rivers edge. When I got home I cooked it. Because I was cooking other dishes and using seasoning, I didn't initially realize the smell. I took a bite out of the chicken and... See More it tasted absolutely disgusting. It tasted completely off. I smelled the chicken more closely and it smelled vaguely rotten. The smell got worse after about 15 minutes as the chicken cooled. I called the store and they apologize, gave me a refund, and accepted my return of all the other chicken that I purchased that day. I am concerned that there is a bigger issue at hand, either at the store where the chicken is not being kept correctly, or in transport. It makes no sense that chicken that was supposed to be good for another week was immediately rotten when I had purchased it from the store that same day. Now, 24 hours later, I'm experiencing nausea and gi issues. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting See Less
