“We ate in January 2020 on a Friday. I had the mahi mahi sandwhich with coleslaw. Next morning around 4 am I had bad diarrhea stomach cramping. Since then I've had stomach pains and my stools havent been the same or regular. ”
“She was feeling at first faint and sweaty then she began feeling nauseous. I told her to get out of the car to get fresh air and drink some water. Then she started dry heaving then throwing up and she still doesn’t feel well. It’s been 19hrs from the time... she ate the beyond burger. She has the beyond burger. One person got sick. It began a few hours after she ate the meal and she had all of those symptoms above including sweating and malaise. ”
“Picked up build your own pizza at 230pm, started to feel bloated and burp a lot around 4pm. Started to feel nauseous around 8pm. Started throwing up and having diarrhea around 11pm. All night long. Still not feeling well. DONT EAT HERE! ”
“Super burrito 3 people got sick. It took about 5 hours for symptoms to show. Nausea was first it lasted about 7 hours. We couldn't sleep. By 3am we started sweating. And then the stomach pains. It took about an extra two hours for myself to experience any pains .... I was first to vomit ”
“My father and his two friends got food from there. All three got sick (nausea, vomiting, cramps, diahrrea about an hour after eating. The friends got better after a few days, but dad got worse.
Over time he was vomiting everything he ate and could only handle fluids.... Over the next few weeks he had the following: Increased abdominal pain, diahrrea, vomiting, dehydration, lethargy.
Dad kept getting worse, he thought It might be stomach flu, but I didn't. Dad missed Doctor's appointments (he's on dialysis) on and off, for about a month. He got so sick he missed 2 appointments in a row and hadn't had dialasys for 5 days - which is VERY BAD.
With his dialasis, he sometimes got sick after, but this was different. He was literally screaming in pain and delerious.
They took him away in an ambulance, screaming in agony. He stayed in hospiral 11 days.
Turned out he had an abdominal obstruction and severe inflammation and infection, caused by.....severe food poisoning. They put him on an I.V, had to sedate him, give him strong pain meds, shoved a tube up his nose and into his bowrls. They drained several LITERS of infected fluid from his intestines. They told me that if he'd waited one more day, he'd have died. Died.
This all goes back to the day he went to there. They have always been crappy; missing more thsn one item, wrong change and more than once my hamburger or egg mcmuffin was ice cold and so stale, it seemed like it was in the first stages of rigor mortis. Plus the fries were burned more than once and I'd gotten attitude (from regular staff, not the msnagers) whenever I had to go back and fix the issue (I'd stopped going there way before my dad got sick).
I don't know if any others have suffered food poisoning and/or dysentery at the hands of this particular reasturant, but I wouldn't be surprised.
But, after ALL THIS, nobody I know will even go near that place again!!! ”
“A seasoned traveller, I took my dukoral before I left, didn't use any tap water was told the ice was purified and came from bags. Didn't eat any unpealed fruit.
It started on day 2 and was consistent. Every meal I would eat caused stomach cramping and several bouts of... dirreah. We are chairman circle members and only ate in restaurants and vip and higher bars. After a few days of this I was feeling run down but there was light at the end of the tunnel.
We had our final dinner at the Blue lagoon before going home. That night 7 of us were violently ill. Vomiting, diarreah, chills, aches, lethargy. Some felt fine after a matter of hours. My self and my family have had symptoms for the past 3 days. Since coming back to Canada the cramping and diarreah have subsided. I'm just working on eating a whole meal. My children continue to have diarreah and vomitting. If things don't improve today we will be visiting our doctor.
“My husband, my sister and I all had burgers. Afterwards my husband had severe vomiting and diarrhea, and still has severe stomach pain. My sister had diarrhea. And I had severe stomach cramps but am currently on Valium which tends to constipate me so I think that helped to suppress... my GI a bit. ”
