1 month ago source mpi.govt.nz business

Recall notice

New Zealand

Jenniferzs Limited is recalling all batches and dates of its A1 Chips – On the Go brand chips and snacks range due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, wheat. The products are sold at various stores throughout the North Island.

The recalled products include a variety of snacks such as Sesame Pakoda, Coil Murukku, Corn Mixture, Sesame Murukku, Kara Boondhi, Thattai Murukku, Butter Murukku, Garlic Murrukku, Onion Murukku, Mixture, Salt Boondhi, Chilli Murukku, and Hand Murukku. All products are sold in a foil pouch and include all batches and dates.

People with a wheat allergy or intolerance should not consume these products. If you have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice. If you are not allergic or intolerant to wheat, this recall does not affect you. Customers with a wheat allergy or intolerance should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.

In case you experience harm from allergens or undeclared ingredients, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
