The New York’s Department of Agriculture and Markets announced an alert to consumers due to undeclared eggs in “Fujian Aixiangqin” Bread and in “Fujian Aixiangqin” French Roll. Both items are imported from China and are distributed in the New York City metro area by Apollo Food International Inc. in Brooklyn, NY.
The recalled products are:
- “Fujian Aixiangqin” Bread is packaged in a 360 gm, plastic wrapped package with a code of F2021.03.16B41 17:39
- “Fujian Aixiangqin” French Roll is packaged in a 200 gm, plastic wrapped package with a code of F2021.03.0A15212:51
No illnesses have been reported to date to the Department in connection with this product.
Consumers who have a severe sensitivity to eggs and have purchased these products should not consume them, they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.
