Multiple Seasoning Products recalled due to Foreign Matter

QST Ingredients and Packaging has initiated a voluntary recall of several seasoning products due to potential contamination with metal fragments. The affected products were distributed to four customers in Southern California and one in Texas in the United States, who use them for further processing or retail sales. A total of 19,731 pounds of each product is affected.

PRODUCT: BBQ Riblet Seasoning (Cargill Meat) (PPM)
- Size: 50 lb
- UPC: QST# 5275
- Lot Number: 059251, 079251, 154251, 170251, 170252

PRODUCT: Lemon Pepper Seasoning (Tarantino)
- Size: 50 lb
- UPC: QST# 6402
- Lot Number: 118251

PRODUCT: Cajun Seasoning (Taratino)
- Size: 50 lb (Usage: 13.80 lbs for 300 lbs of meat)
- UPC: QST# 4546
- Lot Number: 118251

The issue was identified through internal quality checks, leading to a Class II recall initiated on August 7, 2025, and classified on August 14, 2025. The recall remains ongoing.
