The FSIS announced the recall of approximately 3,365 pounds of Chinese style hot pot base products containing beef tallow by Rong Shing Trading Inc. doing business as Double R Trading Inc. because the products were imported from the People’s Republic of China, a country ineligible to export beef to the United States. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ homes. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase

“I ate a Mexican Chicken Baguette on Tuesday 6th of April around 12/1pm. A few hours later I suffered from a poorly tummy and aches. I slept on it as I didn’t think it was anything to worry about. I woke up the next morning feeling a lot worse (aching joints, poorly tummy and flu like symptoms). On t... he Thursday (8th April) and Friday (9th April) my temperature was rising, I had a headache, bellyache and felt really run down and I had green diarrhoea and sickness with blood in both. I called 111 and they sent me immediately to A&E. I’ve been in there since Friday afternoon and they have said it is Salmonella. I’m having constant blood checks and poo samples - I feel awful! ”

“I ate it on 4/21 and by the next morning and since then have been having symptoms. They ALSO messed up my order so I had to go back in and fix it. So upset. I have been also feeling nauseous but more diarrhea than nausea. Very disappointed. I ordered a burrito bowl with white rice, black beans, faji... ta veggies (which they gave me barely any...), chicken, tomatoes, corn, cheese, lettuce, and guacamole. Safe to say I will be avoiding it for the next few months. I will warn everyone around me to avoid them until they have this under control. ”
