CFIA announced the recall of certain sweetened dried cranberries by Les Aliments Johnvince distributed and sold in Quebec due to possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.CFIA advises consumers not to consume the recalled product and throw them out or return them to the place of purchase. Consumers who are unsure if they have purchased the affected product are advised to contact their retailer.
- Sweetened dried cranberries PLU 5176. No brand. Variable weights (plastic bag of approximately 300 g) UPC: None. Codes: 06472 / 06481 / 0648. This packaged product may have been sold with or without codes from May 28, 2020 up to and including June 8, 2020.
