How can you know it’s the fruit? Usually

The fruit was the only "new" thing I had in that 96 hour time-frame. Everything else I ate in that time-frame was fully cooked and stuff I have routinely eaten many times before with no problems at all.

How would it be fruit 48 hours later? Fruit is processed in your stomach rather quickly. I would assume it was something else. Maybe something you ate that day or at most the day prior.

Numerous pathogens that cause food poisoning actually have incubation periods that are around the range of 48 hours. To the best of my knowledge, many public health officials say it's often times not the most recent thing you ate (or even ate on that day) that caused the food poisoning but rather something that was eaten longer ago.

I took the family, my wife, 3 kids, son in law, boyfriend etc. First they stuck the 7 of us in a curved booth that should only seat 6. And no we are not big people at all.
I had the chicken frahitas., 4 hours later serious,... See More vomiting, diarrhea, all night long. I am guessing, because of this BS post covid world people are hanging on to meat much longer then they might normally. Or the lack of people to work we are getting people to work that do not know how to prepare food properly. Lastly this is not really good Mexican food out of the gate. Sad have been there a few times before, but even the bar was lack luster. On the phone they said the was no wait. My daughter got there 5 minutes after that initial phone call, and they told her about 90 minutes. And you could not have a drink at the bar unless you were ordering dinner.
Then the waiter asks my wife for her ID. My wife does not look her age, but she is 60.and it took a conversation with the manager to explain the car was a block away. And if we were going to go and get the ID we were leaving. And by the way þ was after they served me my drink. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

June21 2021 I ate for breakfast jelly donuts and Lactaid milk in my coffee and became seriously ill while working. My husband ran out and got pedia lyte and I almost passed out so he drove me to the ER in Culpeper where they had to medicate me and IV to stop the vomitting. It was diagnosed as a food born illness. I went to the ER due to the dehydration and inability to stop vomitting. I will never shop there again! To make matters worse they offered to pay my medical expenses, and when I submitted the very small bill leftover from my insurance company already paying a bulk of my ER incident, the insurance company for them called and stated that I cant prove it was them and the refused all of a sudden to pay this very small bill! I am outraged as I attempted to by honest and not be a gold digger and sue, however now I realize I should have done so! Shame on them! They already had accepted fault in writing and I felt that their honesty was enough at that point, until now!
