Histamine fish poisoning
I had an extremely bad reaction to the Tuna.
Subsequently I felt palpitations, nausea and was sure I was about to faint in the middle of the restaurant.
I managed to get myself outside to the side terrace and my friend asked for a bucket.
Unfortunately the staff in the restaurant had no idea how to deal with such a situation.
They would not give my friend a bucket and stated that I should go to the ladies toilet.
I would have made a very horrible mess if I had gone through the restaurant as I would never have made it in time.
We were given a brown paper bag.
I feel that it would be of great use if the staff in the restaurant are made aware that people can die from allergic reactions to food and that they could have at least had the decency to try to help my friend with the most simple of requests 'a bucket'.
The restaurant manager came to speak to me after the ordeal. I have no idea what he made of the situation as I felt as though I was to blame and so I apologized.
I complained to the restaurant they have taken ages replying to my emails and have now offered me a pizza for 2 I am sure that they have no idea of the gravity of such situations and someone could easily be hospitalized due to this also they need to check their food preparation and the storage of the fish they offer.
I will not be accepting their offer of free pizza I really never want to eat in their restaurant again as I am afraid of how they would treat me and what sort of food they offer. I ate at the restaurant on 12th November 2018 | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting
