About two weeks ago I had vomiting and diarrhea for multiple days. I finally recovered and this morning I used Athletic Greens for the first time since the day I got sick. I thought it was a stomach bug or something else I ate. I can now link it back to Athletic Greens, vomiting multiple times a few hours after taking it. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

Same. Took AG1 and vomited a few hours later. Took a break for a couple weeks. Opened a brand new pack. First dose from new pack led to same effects: nausea, upset stomach, and pretty sure I'm going to vomit soon
Same thing happened with my husband. 1st time thought he had a stomach bug
Same here. Tried it several times off and on but can’t handle it. Extreme nausea and bloating for days with just half a dose. Back to my other brand!
Same thing happened to my partner. He thought he had the stomach bug a few weeks ago and just had AG1 for the first time since then today and was vomiting multiple times a few hours later.
I have been experiencing nausea too, every morning after taking AG1 for a week. It’s my first week. I guess I’m not the only one. Not sure I want to pay 100$/month for being nauseous in the morning.
Had been taking AG1 for about a month. One night I thought I had food poisoning. 24 hours later I had a rash. Next two times I took AG1 I threw up within a few hours.
Exactly my situation. Took a long break and tied it again this morning and 5 hours later nausea and vomiting. I guess I have to wait for the diarrhea. Not good.
I used AG1 for a month and began to get diarrhea and severe stomach cramps. Couldn’t figure it out for a couple weeks and suffered through. I’ve since stopped taking it for 48 hours and it still hurts but certainly a lot better. Hoping I fully recover in the next few days

Did you recover? I am on day 3 of the worst cramps of my life. It's scaring me. I figured out it was AG1 yesterday. I am about 36 hours now without taking it. I used it for 6 days. Please let me know you got better!
Same for me. Took it once and I was fine. The next two times made me throw up. Felt like food poisoning. Even after opening a new bag (thinking it was that one bag). Nope, I can’t drink it.
I didn't consistently get sick or have any other issues other than after drinking the ag1, not even 30 minutes later it all came back up but no other issues. I wonder way so many people think this stuff is great but others are sick from it.
I got VERY sick multiple times after using AG1 greens. Vomiting, sweating profusely, diarrhea for hours after 1st onset of symptoms. I can't take it either 😫 I threw all of it out including my new bag.
I was miserable, fighting for my life for 3 whole hours after taking ag1 few hours prior. My body just wouldn't accept it. I was in misery, battling my way out of the deepest depths of hell. But now that I am on the other side I vow never to take my health for granted and also ag1. Never going near it. I was vomiting, shitting my guts out praying for the end.
Had taken AG1 consistently for 3 months, then had major stomach/intestinal pain that had me in fetal position for 6hrs. I thought it was food poisoning, so a few days later I resumed my AG1 and within an hour I had to leave work and again crawled into fetal position.. I really liked the product up until that point.
Add me to the list two seperate events, thought the first was something else and the first time i took it after recovery…..i gave it 5 days, same exact thing almost to the minute!
My husband is experiencing the same thing.
Stated taking it a few weeks back and had some cramping and diarrhea and then some nausea. Stopped for a little over a week and took a dose this morning. Within 2.5 hours I was nausea, vomited several times and had diarrhea. I won't be using AG1 anymore.
Took it for a few weeks then one day woke up with terrible cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea. Figured it was the stomach flu…went on a trip for a weekend and didn’t take it with me. When I got back, took AG1 the first day and threw up WAY worse this time only a couple of hours later.
Same, had no issue for the first two weeks, then suddenly started having stomach pressure and diarrhea
I was fine the first month I took AG1 and now after I take it I am extremely nauseated and cramping. Why is this?

I was using AG1 for about a month then got extremely sick one day with hours of intermittent vomitting and diarrhea, often at the same time. At that time, I attributed it to food poisoning from something else. Because the AG1 came up in my vomit, I was turned off of it for awhile - until yesterday. I had it in the morning and within an hour had an uncontrollable need to vomit. Everything repeated. I was in the bathroom for 4 hours, to afraid to leave the toilet and my body was in total expulsion mode. I alternated between sweats and chills and could smell the AG1 in everything coming out of me. Only made me sicker. I was eventually able to sleep through the night without further episodes. I am an extreme pain today from all of the vomiting and diarrhea and slowly working my way up to eating and drinking again. How ironic that something touted as a health benefit has this reaction for some people.

Same with me
Oh man, my wife is now on her second episode of what you described perfectly.
This is exactly my experience. Same as everyone else - I had this reaction last week but didn't know it was the AG1. Didn't take it again until today (because after vomiting out last week it seemed gross) and within an hour I was puking my guts out. Diarrhea too. I thought maybe my package had gone bad but it sounds like it's happening to other people even with brand new product so I'll probably just be done with AG1 entirely.
Exactly the same for me- violent cramp and vomiting. Post episodes now feeling weak and shivery 🤮🙈
I’ve been taking AG1 since June 2023. Loved it at first. For the last six weeks or so I’ve had constipation and inflammation in my GI tract in general, including esophagus. Now having cramping and soreness in intestines and all over aches and pains. Stopped taking it two days ago and still feeling rough. Never going back to it.
Same, athletics greens upset my stomach so much that I had all symptoms of foodpoisoning. I only took it for about two weeks. I felt a little nauseous taking it but didn’t think too much of it. After two weeks I got really sick for two days. I was on a brat diet for 3 days after and slowly started introducing other foods. Had Althletic greens a week after being sick and got all symptoms of food poisoning again. Good thing is that I lost 4kg but not really the best way. My stomach is still not recovered fully 1 week later again. It’s def not for everyone. My husband uses it without issues so it really depends on the person.
Spent three weeks with worsening nausea and diarrhea. Vomited twice. Went to the doctor. He couldn't figure it out. We did a blood test, poop test, breath test. Couldn't find the cause. Meanwhile, I had quit taking my AG1 while I was feeling ill. After about a week, I felt better. So I returned to my AG1 and immediately felt nauseous again. I think we found our culprit. I am cancelling my AG1 subscription.
Well this is disheartening but confirms my suspicions. My story is the same as most of the others. Start AG1, for about 2 weeks it was great. Then one day I started w: nausea that got very intense, vomited appx 4 hrs after taking the AG1. This continued for 6-8 hours w: the addition of diarrhea. I was sick for 24hrs. I thought I had food poisoning. Because I could taste the AG1 when vomiting, I couldn’t stand the thought to take it for about a month. Today I took it for the first time since @ 10:30am. It’s now 2:30pm & the vomiting just started. Same progression of symptoms. Feel absolutely awful, almost like a 24hr stomach bug or food poisoning. 🤢 super disappointed.
I took it a few years back before it was branded ag1. I felt great the first few times and then got a new pack, and had immediately severe diarrhea , vomiting etc. back then I thought it was a spoiled batch - very possible with all these ingredients that one was moldy or something. Anyway, I don’t feel like touching it again
Same thing with me, I got sick after taking it for two weeks, stopped, after being very sick first day then for a few days, just took some today and vomited three times, it’s terrible stuff for certain people.
I’ve been taking ag1 for about 2 weeks until my cousin gave me the stomach bug and I was off of it for a few days I felt better so I started taking ag1 again and a few hours later I’m on the toilet with diarrhea and vomiting my guts out sometimes at the same time safe to say I’m tossing it out
I took AG1 for 6 days. I am now on day 3 of the worst abdominal pain of my life. It feels like labor! It's scaring me. I have always had a perfect gut schedule, and now I am backed up. Please someone tell me this will pass... I stopped taking the stuff Bout 36 hours ago when I put 2 and 2 together. I also had intense burning sking sensation on my sternum. That's gone. But my belly is SO painful! Don't want to go to the ER. HELP!

Same here, the stomach cramp was so painful in the night, I asked my husband to call an ambulance. The pain subsided after 30 minutes, by literally having to squat to ease the pressure
This is such an interesting feed. I had the same reaction pretty much as everybody else here. Started taking it about a month ago. One day thought I had food poisoning, I had terrible nausea ,stomach cramps, diarrhea, bloating. Took a week or so break. I took AG1 two days ago, and within a few hours was violently vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain. I spent at least one hour glued to the floor and my toilet, ejecting everything out of my body. It was absolutely awful!!!!! Does anybody know what ingredient in this is causing everyone to get sick to be nauseous and vomit? At any rate, thankful to hear that I’m not going crazy. It took me a minute to figure out it was the vitamins, but happy that I figured it out and won’t be taking it ever again!!
Literally throwing up right now from ag1. Same as everyone- took it for a month, went on vacation, came back and thought I had food poisoning. Stopped taking it for two weeks because it reminded me of being sick and this morning it took a lot for my body to allow me to drink it. Two hours later, here I am in bed puking violently with diarrhea.
How is it possible they don’t put this as a disclaimer? I took for a month and then one morning projectile vomited in the parking lot at work. Went home, thinking I had the flu. Tried it again this am - same thing.

I feel your pain here- I was driving to have lunch with my Son, when I suddenly felt dizzy and nauseous. I pulled o we immediately as I was worried that I might be having a heart attack. About 5 minutes later I violently threw up and couldn't go ahead with lunch
I tried a sample pack of Athletic Greens about 5 hours ago and within 30 minutes of drinking about half of it I had a huge wave of nausea and dizziness come over me. I was in a work training and did everything I could to not puke or pass out. I still feel incredibly off and know that it’s from the AG1. It’s an awful feeling that I can’t quite explain that’s a combo of nausea, feeling lightheaded and heart palpitations. Fingers crossed it passes soon. From the looks of this thread, I’m definitely not alone. Ugh!

Same here!very frustrated with product...Overrated
Same symptoms- just lying here now trying to recover post taking the drink earlier
Yup same here! Took half a dose of AG1 about two months ago in a smoothie, and 4 hours later, I vomited and had diarrhea at home. Took a break from it and this morning I tried it again, and same thing: 4 hours later, I projectile vomited in my car on my way home. Literally could not make it. So sad that people are experiencing this!
Exact same thing happened to me. Took it for about 2 weeks and then one morning while teaching I felt absolutely awful. Sweating, nausea, and vomiting. Thought I had stomach bug. Started again today back on AG after almost 3 weeks. Horrible vomiting and diarrhea about 3 hours after. If I even think about it I want to vomit.
I am sitting on the bathroom floor with cramps and vomiting from taking AG 3 hrs ago.
This confirms my suspicions. Took AG1 for 6 months, opened new bag and dosed normally and all day felt like garbage, in the evening had the most violent food poisoning symptoms. 8 hrs of pure hell. Stopped all supplements for a few weeks. Started AG1 again 2 weeks later and felt like pure garbage all day, nasty gut rot, heavy hard knot in my stomach, just waiting for the sickness to come. For me I didn't throw up again but I feel terrible all day, especially 4-6 hrs after the dose. Waited another week and dosed AG1 again. Same thing, slightly less intense. But still feel like total garbage. It's hard not to think it's a bad batch, but at $135 per bag landed, it's not worth the risk.
These stories are my exact situation with AG1. Took it initially for about a week with no issue. Went out of town and didn’t take it for a week. Returned home and started it again and within 3 hours I was violently ill. I had to pull over in my car and vomit multiple times trying desperately to get home. Also had extreme sweating, rapid heart beat and felt like I would pass out. It felt like food poisoning. Unsure if it was the AG1 that caused this I tried just 1/2 scoop a couple of weeks later and within 3 hours I experienced the exact same scenario again. It is a very scary and awful experience that comes on very suddenly and violently but within a very dpecific time frame of around 3 hours after taking AG1. Never again! AG1 needs to address this issue with all of these stories being so similar. Someone is going to die.

Did you refrigerate the AG1? I'm wondering if not refrigerating if is the cause
I am in Fla. Same story. I called them and told them about this.
AG1 gave me terrible stomach cramps and bloating. Tried it for 2 months. After stopping, my issues went away.
Wow. Wish I had read this earlier. I took AG1 for exactly 3 weeks. On the 22nd day I was extremely nauseous. 23rd day I started throwing up and having diarrhea. Took a break for a few days while I recovered. Didn’t want to drink it this morning since the taste was associated with the illness. I made it about halfway through before I threw the rest of the bottle out. I was throwing up again within 2 hours and having diarrhea within 6 hours. Luckily they’re giving me my money back. Man, this was rough.
Same thing happened to me
Me too!! Random bouts of puking, nausea, severe cramps, diarrhea
Me too. First time I thought it was a bug. Second and third times it was on the day that I restarted AG1. Violent throwing up and diarrhea. Still experiencing pretty constant nausea a few days after last episode.
