Au Bon Pain Food Poisoning
“I ate Broccoli Cheese soup at approximately 11 a.m. I started feeling 'funny' almost immediately. Pains in my epigastric region started within 30 minutes. The pain kept getting worse by increments. I left work at 2:30 p.m. and was worried I'd make it home in time to prevent me from driving from the pain. I made it home and started vomiting. The stomach pains grew intense. Had a little diarrhea. Pain became intolerable. Had my son take me to the ER. After blood & urine tests, they diagnosed me with gastroenteritis. When I told them about the soup, they said the likely culprit was that soup. 2 days later and I'm still on anti-spasmotics, pain drugs and antibiotics. I plan to talk to management at Au Bon Pain.”

Report Type: Food Poisoning
Went to the Block 37 location around noon on 10/4 with a coworker. Both ordered the chicken caesar asiago salad. Not even 10 minutes after eating both felt very nauseous and stomachs would not settle. I have had the exact salad several times before at this same store with no issues. I did call and speak with the manager who apologized and offered a full refund. I will go back in when physically able to walk over.
