“What a way to ruin Valentine’s Day. Me and my boyfriend got it for our date night at home for Valentine’s Day and by 230 am I was awoken with a horrible ache in my stomach that soon turned into vomitting and diarrhea. Will never be eating here again. Thanks. ”
“got a chicken bowl for breakfast around 9am. had diarrhea 4 times before noon. threw up around 1:30pm. have had extreme stomach pains about an hour after eating and still experiencing now 8 hours later. had to cancel valentines day dinner reservations. never eating there again. ”
“ate a chicken sandwich, few hours later i am experiencing nausea, bloating, muscle pain, etc. I am very upset, as it WAS my favorite restaurant... now i cannot trust you ”
“Ordered spicy chicken and when I went to chewing, everything inside my mouth seemed foreign. Immediately spat it up, made the video, went to bathroom and threw up. When I came out of the restroom I noticed the sandwich and any remaining evidence was discarded and when I requested the... substantial evidence the manager said she's not going into the trash and threatened me with the police. She attempted to simply pacify my clearly traumatized self with a refund for their mishap and then threatened with police when I insisted on the uncooked evidence. Started having pounding headache and feeling nauseous so was transported via ambulance from the scene and diagnosed with gastroenteritis from capital Regional medical center. ”
“There is some confusion surrounding the current Coronavirus (called 2019-NocV) outbreak that began in December 2019 and whether you can get it through food. Here is some information:
What is Coronavirus?
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses found in both animals and humans. Past outbreaks include Middle East Respiratory... Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The current novel Coronavirus (a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans) is thought to originate in live food markets in Wuhan, China through animals and human contact.
How is it transmitted?
Coronaviruses such as the current 2019-NocV are transmitted through the respiratory system, not the gut, so there is a low risk of infection through the consumption of contaminated food. Restaurants can be a site of transmission of coronavirus because of the large numbers of people congregating in close quarters and then coughing/sneezing could spread the disease just like in other places (transportation, schools, etc). But the food itself isn’t a likely vehicle.
Signs of infection?
Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases and those with weakened immune systems, an infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death.
Recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO):
Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, covering mouth+nose when coughing/sneezing, and avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.

“I went for a quick lunch at 2:30 pm on 1-24-2020. Ordered the chicken avacado burrito. I felt very sick at 3 and started vomiting at 3:30. I vomited. Every 20 mins. It got more violent at 5:30. I have been up all night vomiting about every 30 mins or... so. I am currently vomiting bile or stomach acid. Its 8:04am the next day and I got an hour an half sleep. I very rarely get sick so I feel awful. My concern is the chicken was not cooked or the staff is passing some kind of illness. I want to help others to come forward or not get sick. I have dierrea now. Stomach has a lot of pain. I can only sip water which helps to throw up the bile. ”

“I bought 2% blue cap milk at 130pm 2/2/2020 for my kids breakfast Monday 2/3/2020. My 9yr old son had milk and at school his stomach started hurting. At 930 the nurse called of my son symptoms. I took him to urgent care. They thought it could be appendicitis. Took... him to Baptist ER and they diagnosed him with a stomach virus. Later today my husband and daughter had milk during dinner and 10min later they also felt stomach pain. The milk exp. 2/22/2020. I have noticed this particular location loves to leave their restocking item on the floor without refrigerating until staff finally gets to it. Thank god we found my sons cause ”
