“I found a receipt and checked the Canadian Food Inspection site. On August 19, I bought peaches that are now listed linked to Salmonella. I bought peaches on August 19 (and still have two left in my kitchen). Symptoms started two hours after my meal on August 25 at 6pm, with vomiting and diarrhea st... arted exactly two hours after the meal. These very violent in nature, left me exhausted and dehydrated. Vomiting and diarrhea were severe and lasting. ”

Recall details: Legendary Baking of Chaska, MN is voluntarily recalling a single lot of item number 7545 - French... Silk Pie. This product is being recalled due to a potential undeclared pecan allergen. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to pecans run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. Caramel Pecan Silk Supreme pies may have been packaged in containers that otherwise identify the product as French Silk Pie and did not reveal the presence of pecans. NO OTHER LOT CODES OR PRODUCTS ARE IMPACTED.
There has been no illness reported to date. Currently, there are 330 pies or less than 14% of the lot unaccounted for at this time that were delivered to certain Village Inn restaurants in the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Wyoming. Pies were sold either whole through a retail case located within the restaurants or in slices. All the potentially affected restaurants that may have received the pies at issue have been notified. The potentially affected product can be identified as follows:
- Village Inn French Silk Pie. Lot code (printed on the side of the pie tin): CH20322CPS(Hour)(Minute)
Only this specific lot code is impacted. Customers are asked to remove or discard all product with the lot code listed above immediately. Recall details: Recall Limited to Lavva Blueberry Plant-Based Yogurt 5.3 Ounce Dated 2/21/21 Out of an abundance of caution, E... VR Foods, INC, parent company to Lavva, is issuing a voluntary recall on its 5.3 ounce Blueberry Plant-Based Yogurt with expiration date 2/21/21. While this SKU and date code cleared strict quality assurance protocols, recent testing indicates a potential mold contamination.
No other Lavva products are affected by the recall. This plant-based yogurt was produced at a manufacturing facility in Norwich, NY, and has only been linked to the single date code. There have been no confirmed illnesses to date.
The recalled Blueberry Plant-Based Yogurts were distributed to retail stores nationwide. The product comes in a 5.3 ounce, colorful plastic cup with a foil lid, marked with lot #022121 on the bottom of the cup which is also used as the expiration date of the product.
Consumers are urged not to eat the product subject to the recall. Anyone who purchased the SKU may return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions about the recall can reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org or 833-885-2882 between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST Monday through Friday.
The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has been notified of this recall and is assisting with the process. The brand is available at retailers nationwide, including Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, Kroger, and local natural food stores. All of Lavva’s products are vegan, dairy-free, and use organic ingredients whenever possible.
