“My husband and I ate around 11:30 am on 12/16/2019. I immediately felt off after eating but both of us got sick around 7 pm. Now we are stuck with the chills, body aches and severe nausea. Be ware ”

“We ate lunch and my son was the only one in our party who ate soup. Later the same evening, he had nausea, severe stomach pain, and vomited. He did not have other symptoms (such as those you might expect from the flu). He has improved 24 hours later, but... remains weak and a bit achy. While we are not certain that his symptoms arose from a food-borne illness, we thought this was worth sharing in case there are others who may have been affected. ”

There was sewage flowing across the parking common area into the alleyway.
Floor drains inside the kitchen had been plugged with towels and they were vacuuming sewage into buckets and dumping the buckets out the back. All of this while openly handling food.

Failing an inspection while on probation, cockroach infestation, no hot water. The inspector saw roaches “too numerous to count” throughout the restaurant, including at the food-prep lines. There was no hot water initially, although the water warmed up enough after faucets were run continuously for 25 minutes.... There were two other critical violations, for food not being held at safe temperatures (a salad bar cooler was impounded) and food-contact surfaces being encrusted with debris (including pizza trays that the person in charge said are never washed, just occasionally run through the pizza oven). Among the 16 lesser violations, most of which were repeat problems, no one had a food safety manager certificate (this resulted in a citation), employees didn’t wash hands, floor sinks were clogged, there were no lids for the cold-top coolers and the restaurant was in need of a thorough cleaning. The grade of 65 ties for the third-lowest at any restaurant in Riverside County in the past five years, records show. This was the restaurant’s third failed inspection this year and it was placed on probation in September. To reopen, it would have to correct all violations and purchase a new health permit.

“We arrived there at about 6pm, we noticed that the area seemed to be dirty, none of the employees were wearing hair nets, and no one was using gloves. There were 3 of us. Me, my mother and my father. We all ate the pizzas, my mom had a salad... as well. Not even an hour after eating, all 3 of us began to feel sick and had to run straight to the bathroom. It is currently 2 am and we are still suffering from the symptoms. ”

“Ate there this afternoon was pretty slow. Ordered a personal pizza to the table like usual. the place had an odor to it especially by the soda machine like mold and a foul smell coming from the back and fruit flies all by the restrooms and through out. None of... the employees washed their hand at all while i was there and the individual cutting the oven took pizza right off the buffet and ate it and continued cutting the oven with no washing of hand and was drinking a half gallon of tea behind the counter also and sitting it on the cut table and no had washing after any drinking of it or any time he rubbed his nose. the place is very dim with so may lights blown out and the air return vents are caked in dust that can fall into peoples food. There is a completely new staff and the old general manager i found out left too so that explains a lot of why there are issues. Employees not wearing hats or hairnets while handling food. From knowing the old general manager i know that she was the only one there with a serve-safe certification and i would bet that no one working there now has one. So after eating my pizza,a few brownies, and cinnamon rolls i left. One i got home about 630 pm i started to feel nauseous and not well. I've had to keep running to the bathroom because of this and wishing i would stop feeling so sick, ”
“I ate crab salad. It had been in the refrigerator over a week. I'm the only one here. The only one who ste it. About 1-1.5 hrs after I ate it I got very nauseous and felt like I was going to vomit. “Ramen. Noodles I ate two packs of Ramen noodles. I don’t have the name but purchased out of the international section. I rarely eat ramen. I had a taste for them and picked up four packs. I threw the other two packs away after becoming ill. The next morning I... was so dizzy that I stayed in bed all day. I couldn’t get up without the feeling of falling down or nausea. I had sweats all day. This is the 3rd day and I still have a bit of dizziness. I just taped two bandaids to my temples just so I can finally function. I cure I found by accident from just holding my temples! I was sure I had COVID-19. Thank God it was ONLY slight food poisonin...I’m assuming. ”

My husband went to that location and he was really sick and had the chills .. he was fine prior to us going... there.. last year I ate there and we both were sick but we thought maybe we would give it another chance but this time he got sick and I didn’t.. and when we get the tacos the meat is never hot. It’s like Luke warm or cold.. when we go to Taco Bell the meat is always hot upon getting the order.. we won’t be going back there ”

“I got sick months ago but just realised that we could report our stories online. I was very ill for 3 weeks, after having a shrimp based dish (pad Thai or noodles). I remember feeling very bad around 30 minutes after eating. Then I started to have very severe stomach... burns, I had never been in so much pain. I went to the hospital because the pain was too intense. The doctors told me I had food poisoning from seashell. I have been avoiding cheap Chinese restaurants since. It was just awful. ”
