I stayed In Dreams la Romana. It’s not my first time staying at that hotel. I have been traveling a lot and I visited 50 plus countries. This was the first time I experienced vomiting and watery diarrhea. When I started googling and saw how many people got poisoned I would never again travel to DR again. Nobody cares about your health. They only know how to charge people huge amounts of money if they end up in hospital. No wonder seagrassum arrived. To save people from trouble and stress.

Update June 27th, 2026:
I feel good now. I didn’t need to go to hospital as I brought all the medications with me just in case. Been traveling and eating in all the places 50 plus countries never experienced anything like that. If I didn’t have Imodium not sure what I would do. I was so upset i couldn’t not eat anything the rest of my stay. Thanks for this website. People should know and be warned about potential treats in Dominican Republic. What’s even worse they don’t give a sh*t about tourists. They look at us like animals and charging people enormous money for hospital bills. Very sad | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
