Today was my first time eating at Genghis, and everything seemed fine. I ate around 2 pm and started feeling nauseous around 4 pm. Around 7 pm, I felt like I was about to throw up, and I ran into the bathroom and did just that. Whenever I was leaving to go home, I pulled over and did it once more. Right now, I have a fever along with cramps and a sore body. I had a few meats, but the one meat that my friends did not have that I did was shrimp. I cannot eat there again.

“I had oysters and fried mushrooms.
I woke up with violent diarrhea, vomiting and stomach cramps. It continued for 15 hours. It was so violent that I knew if it continued, I would have to go to hospital as I wasn’t able to keep a sip of water down.
Had I been elder or child or compromised individua... l health wise, it would have been to the hospital immediately because of the situation I was experiencing.
Time period fits window for norovirus of 12 - 48 hours with median of 33 hours. My onset was 36 hours.
I am still feeling the after affects with stomach cramps and nausea. Just uncomfortable and it is now 3 days later from onset.
Where did oysters come from? Harvested? Or food handler contamination?
I have been in food, beverage and hospitality business for 31 years. There is no doubt it was food born illness. I know it is highly contagious for others once I have it. Most people don’t know this fact about “food poisoning” vs. stomach flu...
I am reporting for establishment to go back and review and for others to be alerted for life saving reasons.
I have eaten oysters since my teenage years at reputable establishments. I will never take this chance again. It was that bad/violent/still uncomfortable. ”

“Seems that French Fries were not fully cooked, as they didn’t digest. Ordered a double quarter with cheese and bacon, fries, chocolate shake, and cookies for lunch Saturday, 2/27/2021. Stomach began to ache with cramps about 10p and by 1p diarrhea started. Then about 7a the nausea started and I vom... ited. Only small, undigested French fries were recognizable. There had been a metallic taste to the hamburger, but there were no signs of it in the vomit materials. Diarrhea continued until about 4p Sunday, 2/28, and short waves of nausea too, but vomiting stopped after some ginger ale. It happened on Saturday night and Sunday 2/27-28, ”

“I went there on April 10th. My partner got 2 bean burritos and I decided I wanted to try the chicken sandwich. The lady said the chicken sandwich would take a little bit because they were still cooking the chicken fillets and I said that would be fine. We waited for our food and the sandwich was goo... d but I thought it was a little moist. I didn't pay any mind to it though and went back home after making some more stops in York. That night I started feeling nauseous and started to have bad diarrhea. Further into the night at around 9 pm I started getting a fever and fell asleep for a bit over 12 hours minus the times getting up to use the restroom. It is currently the 11th of April and my fever isn't as bad as it was last night but I still have nausea, diarrhea, and aches all around my body with the fever only coming back every so often. ”

Recall details: Today Sabra Dipping Company, LLC announced that, in partnership with the FDA, it is voluntarily recalling app... roximately 2,100 cases of 10 oz Classic Hummus because it was potentially contaminated with Salmonella, that was discovered by a routine screen of a single tub by the FDA. The recall is limited to 1 SKU of 10 oz Classic Hummus produced on Friday, February 10, 2021 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 12:00 midnight with a “Best Before” date of April 26.
The voluntary recall is limited only to 10 oz Classic Hummus. No other Sabra products are affected by this recall. This product was distributed to 16 states. The product is over halfway through its shelf life. It’s unlikely you’ll find this product on the shelf. No illnesses or consumer complaints have been reported to date in connection with this recall. The recalled product is listed below. Consumers can find time stamp and “Best Before” date on the top of each package.
- Classic Hummus, 10oz. UPC: 300067. Best Before: 4/26/21. PRODUCTION DATE/TIME STAMP: On: Feb 10 Between: 18:00:27 and 23:49:00.

Consumption of food contaminated with Salmonella can cause salmonellosis. “The CFIA announced the recall of Chen-Chen brand Dried Apricot North Almond Seeds products by Chevalier Star Trading Co. Ltd because it contains excessive amygdalin which may cause acute cyanide poisoning. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
CF... IA advises consumers these recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased. Check to see if you have the recalled product in your home.

Apricot kernels naturally contain amygdalin, which can release cyanide after being eaten. The human body can eliminate small amounts of cyanide, but larger amounts can result in cyanide poisoning, which could lead to death. Symptoms of cyanide poisoning include weakness and confusion, anxiety, restlessness, headache, nausea, difficulty breathing and shortness of breath, loss of consciousness, seizures, and cardiac arrest.

“11/04/2021, Fresh chicken from here On Saturday night 10/04/2021 me and my partner ate nothing all day as we were saving ourselves for chicken fajitas in the afternoon. The chicken itself smelt ok but seemed maybe a little slimier than usual. We also used peppers and onions from here a Nando’s faji... ta pack also from this store. The next night 11/04/2021 we had severe flatulence and stomach cramps. Then all through the night we had diarrhoea and nausea. We’ve been shivering and haven’t been able to get warm and since the fajitas have only managed to drink water. This leads me to believe the chicken was the cause of how ill we currently are. ”
