I was sick with diarrhea and stomach pain for 2.5 weeks, finally got tested, and tested positive for E. coli and Norovirus. Prescribed Cipro. Symptoms persisted requiring a colonoscopy to investigate. Results showed gut irritation and inflammation. Was then prescribed Xifaxan.
