Persistent GI Issues Post-Trip - Iberostar Costa Dorada, Puerto Plata Puerto Plata

Food/water contamination, On the second day of the trip I fell ill after consuming a very rare steak or contaminated water. I was extremely nauseous with constant diarrhea for the next 5 days. I vomited before boarding my return flight and finally received a traveler’s diarrhea pill upon return to the US. My symptoms have continued with multitudes of GI issues for the following 8 months and are still ongoing.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
