“I had oysters and fried mushrooms.
I woke up with violent diarrhea, vomiting and stomach cramps. It continued for 15 hours. It was so violent that I knew if it continued, I would have to go to hospital as I wasn’t able to keep a sip of water down.
Had I been elder or child or compromised individua... l health wise, it would have been to the hospital immediately because of the situation I was experiencing.
Time period fits window for norovirus of 12 - 48 hours with median of 33 hours. My onset was 36 hours.
I am still feeling the after affects with stomach cramps and nausea. Just uncomfortable and it is now 3 days later from onset.
Where did oysters come from? Harvested? Or food handler contamination?
I have been in food, beverage and hospitality business for 31 years. There is no doubt it was food born illness. I know it is highly contagious for others once I have it. Most people don’t know this fact about “food poisoning” vs. stomach flu...
I am reporting for establishment to go back and review and for others to be alerted for life saving reasons.
I have eaten oysters since my teenage years at reputable establishments. I will never take this chance again. It was that bad/violent/still uncomfortable. ”

“Seems that French Fries were not fully cooked, as they didn’t digest. Ordered a double quarter with cheese and bacon, fries, chocolate shake, and cookies for lunch Saturday, 2/27/2021. Stomach began to ache with cramps about 10p and by 1p diarrhea started. Then about 7a the nausea started and I vom... ited. Only small, undigested French fries were recognizable. There had been a metallic taste to the hamburger, but there were no signs of it in the vomit materials. Diarrhea continued until about 4p Sunday, 2/28, and short waves of nausea too, but vomiting stopped after some ginger ale. It happened on Saturday night and Sunday 2/27-28, ”

“Our family ordered delivery take out food from there for dinner 04-15-2021. Recall details: Kareem Mart of Garden City, MI,is recalling its 1lb and 2lb Kareem Chef brand “Halva”, “Halva with Pistachi... o”, and “Halva with Chocolate” food treats because they have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infection in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, producing more severe illnesses infections.
The recalled “Halva” were distributed through Mediterranean food stores and wholesalers in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Ohio, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Between March 2020 to Feb 2021. Please do not consume the product and immediately dispose of the product or return to 32816 Manor Park Garden City MI 48135. Or to the place of purchase. And send us a note to the email: email@example.com with the return receipt and product purchase date for a full refund.
The products come in 1lb and 2lb plastic tubs. There is only one lot distributed. With Best Before 07-01-2022. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the problem. The potential for contamination was noted after routine testing from samples in the stores by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD).
Production of the product has been suspended while the FDA and the company continue their investigation as to the source of the problem.

She got home around 7pm after a meeting and started vomiting with some blood in her vomit and had diarrhea and chills and sweets. She has the leftovers in her car and we are not sure what to do?
