“Day and 1/2 in to the holiday.... violently sick , diarrhoea and fainting . My daughter followed suit a day later ..... we were in bed 3 and 1/2 days! Very. Very ill. Probable cause the ice..... water .... or from the buffet. The hotel paid for the doctor abd... medication at my insistence as the hotel was the cause. Wanted us to pay $2000 for hospital tests but refused. Still washed out ..... not happy as an expensive holiday. ”
“Not sure We ate between 11 am a noon on Fat Tuesday 2/25 and ate from their Mardi Gras tapa menu. My husband got sick at 4:39pm and was taken to ER via ambulance. I started feeling ill about an hour later. I drove to ER and 2 nurses wanted... to admit me while I was there with my husband. ”
“My daughters shared a slice of iced lemon cake around 5:45 pm. Shortly afterward, one daughter complained of stomach ache, joint and back ache, dizziness, nausea, chills, severe headache, and said she felt like she would vomit lemons.
The other daughter also complained of stomach pain, and said her stomach... felt like it was waves in the ocean.
I believe the cake had been left out under lights all day and had grown something. The food handler may also have had something to do with it. Either way, food poisoning. ”
“Ate on 15/2/2020, 1900 hrs. Four pax. Dishes included oysters, lobster and scallops. Only oysters were shared among the family. Next day, vomiting, diarrhoea, nausea and high fever for all four. Other family members who did not go to restaurant had no symptoms. Previously ate here in 2019 and had... food poisoning. Was not sure it was specifically this outlet that time, but after this experience am highly certain. ”

“I ate an enchilada verde for lunch. It was the only thing I had eaten all day other than my normal coffee and water. About 2 hours later I became violently ill, throwing up, so weak, chills, body aches, neck ache, what feels like a UTI and tender kidneys. It’s... insane. I’m hoping I get better overnight. ”
