the drive threw; I went home to eat. My stomach felt full so I stopped about 20 -30 minutes in the meal; I felt sick. I went to the bathroom to use it. I was sweating , chills and fever and I was vomiting. I felt dizzy and the cramps were so bad. The meal had Wendy's chili in it while I ate the salad, it was on the side but i put it in. Its a part of the salad.. I believe it was the orange creme frosty and the chili in the meal that had me vomiting. I still feel nausea from after I puked. Wendy's in lebanon , pa is known for making people sick but this was horrible; It felt like I was dying it hurt do bad. The cramping and the vomiting. I vomited 10 times with in the 20-30 minutes. I lost so much fluid; I had to drink pedilite to keep my hydration up. The salad never made me sick; the back potato was dried out. It tasted funny. I hardly ate that. But that chili had a weird taste to it also . I thought it was Normal because they use the burger meat from the nite before; I believe it was the grease from the chili. The milk from the creme frosty as well. I still feel sick. I will have to go to the emergency room if the vomiting does not stop. not eat breakfast or anything else prior to the whopper. I drank bottled water at the location, drank the same filtered water as my fiancé at home this morning, and only ate a few fries (which my fiancé also ate, and he’s currently ok). No food since. I’m a molecular biologist with a focus on infectious diseases, and I know what to look for regarding food poisoning cases.

Update 30/03: I actually suspect it's a toxin-producing bacterium, such as *S. aureus*, especially considering the rapid onset of symptoms. We also don't have a high number of norovirus cases in our area, so it's not something that I would consider to be suspicious when weighing other factors like norovirus' incubation period, symptoms like fever and myalgia, and rapid spread. I'm also not in close contact with many other people or shared surfaces, further reducing the index of suspicion. On the other hand, *Staph aureus* is ubiquitously found and the enterotoxins produced are highly heat stable, making it more likely to be the causative agent if the meat was older, improperly handled (especially regarding hygiene practices) or stored, or not cooked to temperature.
