That White Castle was the only food eaten in 24 hours, and the following 60+ hours no food was tolerated. Banana & Mango, Just Smoothie Forest Berries, Just Smoothie Strawberry & Banana, and any other ProBox Just Smoothie products. All of these items come in a 250 ml pack size. The recall applies to all batches and best before dates of these products.

The issue was discovered during a routine check by the company. Retailers have been requested to remove all ProBox Just Smoothie products from sale, and consumers are advised not to consume the implicated smoothies.

locations in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virgina, Wisconsin, West Virgina, Washington, DC, and certain locations in Europe. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.

The product best by date can be found on the bottom of the retail box. A photograph of the package can be found below.

Finished product testing on the mango bars revealed that the finished product may contain Salmonella. The company has ceased distribution of the affected product. The company is conducting an investigation as to what caused the problem and will take effective action to prevent any future issue.

Consumers who have the affected product should not consume this product.

more rows later in the evening and again within 10 minutes it happened again! Stomach cramps and loud gurgling was happening as I had the diarrhoea.

Today I tried one row to see if that would affect me and again within 10 minutes I had to use the toilet three times, the diarrhoea was so projectile and violent it hit the toilet water and went up my back and all up the toilet seat!

truama and emotional/mental damage that was recived from this establishment was more than “hell” on earth. I had ate onion rings and home style potatos and only hours later was deathly ill. There kitchen does not allow you to see how the food is being handled,stored or prepared and should be a red flag with how much fried, stove top items they offer. The sandwiches come in a 4-ounce, clear plastic or gold package marked with an expiration date of 08/31/2024 stamped on the back. The Strawberry and Birthday Cake gelato comes in a 5-Liter gray container and the Horchata gelato comes in a 4.75-Liter gray pan marked with an expiration date of 08/31/2024.

The recall was initiated after Belgian Yummies and the Florida Department of Agriculture discovered during an inspection that the product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of wheat, soy, egg, coconut and/or peanuts and FD&C Yellow #5. The problem was caused by outdated labels being used during the packaging process. Labels were immediately corrected, and ingredient lists were provided to all wholesale customers who received the affected products.

People who have allergies to wheat, soy, egg, coconut, and/or peanuts or have a sensitivity to FD&C Yellow #5 run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
