1 person had — diarrhea and nausea
“We went to eat at this buffet and my wife and 14 year old daughter ate the sushi and about an hour later they were both sick ”
“Ate there around 4:00pm on 8/25/19. Around 10:30pm the symptoms started. Ended up going to the ER around 9:00am. I just kept getting sick even when I didn’t have anything else in my stomach. Horrible. ”
“Ate there saturday night got sick yesterday salmonellosis was the diagnosis the sickest I have ever been however the food was to die for good ”
“I ordered Hibachi steak at 730pm on Friday 101218. My boyfriend ordered Mongolian steak at the same time and did not have any issues. However I started to feel sick to my stomach about an hour after I ate & it has been almost 48 hours and my symptoms have... not subsided yet. It started with feeling like a burning ball in the pit of my stomach and burping up food. I wanted to vomit but I didnt (in hindsight I wish I would have) instead I have had horrible diarrhea from a couple hours after I ate until now. I have tried multiple doses of Pepto Bismol & drinking as much water as I can to try to flush it out of my system and stay hydrated. If these symptoms do not subside by this evening I will make an appointment to be seen. The food tasted ok when eating it but right after something tasted bad in my mouth. Whenever I think about eating it it makes me feel nauseated. I feel bad because I thought it was a good restaurant and Ive eaten there before with no issues but I know something happened when I ate that food Friday night. I just wanted to report what happened in case it has happened to someone else. There was a young girl working the counter that was very pleasant but told us that it would be about 25 minutes before our food was ready so we left & ran a quick errand. There was a guy cooking & I didnt see any other employees besides that. When we got back to pick up our food she had to box it up and then gave it to us. We could not see the area where she boxed up the food because it was below the counter where the guy was cooking. If it was an isolated incident it happens but if it happened to more people than something needs to be changed. ”
“I have heard and seen other people get sick by eating here and now I had to learn for myself.
It was probably the sushi, but who knows. ”
“Service was great and food tasted good. The creamed corn tasted a little too smokey but didn't taste bad. I had the pork sandwich and my gf had a chicken sandwich. We had mac n cheese and pinto beans and creamed corn and mashed potatoes. Early the next day we... have been throwing up and have diarrhea. Sharp pains to our stomachs ”
“Food poisoning I ordered one fish biriyani on saturday night 9.30. Symptoms started at night. I woke up two time at night due to thirst and at morning i was very tired. But i decided to eat breakfast. But after breakfast the symtoms got worse and i vomited and little... fever also started. After that my body was rejecting everything even plain water for almost one day. Now i started recovering after two days. ”
“On 05 feb 2020 at 5 pm my sister had kunefe and since the kunafa was big she asked the remaining to be packed for take away and she brought the same to home. Kids at home ate the kunafa and now all of them are not feeling well including... my sister and they are vomiting. ”
“Me and my family got carry-out on Saturday, January 25, 2020. 5 of us got chicken sandwiches (2 spicy, 3 classic) and 3 got chicken legs and fries. The 2 spicy sandwiches came with onion rings and red beans and rice as sides. This was the only meal that we... shared together that everyone ate in weeks! On Sunday morning, my 8-year-old daughter woke up very sick. She refused to eat breakfast and vomited before she could even try. I got very nauseous shortly after, followed by my 13-year-old niece. She started to vomit shortly after the nausea hit. My husband and sister felt nauseous soon after, followed by my 6-year-old daughter, who started vomiting right after lunch. We attempted to have dinner, but so many people were sick, the effort was futile. My 6-year-old niece vomited her lunch and went to bed early, my husband vomited his dinner right after eating it, my sister went to bed nauseous and weak, and all the kids were done as well. I started vomiting after heading to bed for the night and my brother-in-law was sick by Monday morning. The only person in the house who did not get sick was my almost 20-month-old son who did not eat there! ”
“We had dinner Sunday night. My husband had a burrito but I had a bowl with romaine lettuce. I ate all the romaine but didn’t finish cause i was full. I ate around 7:10pm. I woke up at 5am and I felt nauseous. From 9am-11pm I vomited and had some... major stomach cramps. I had to call my husband to leave work because I started having major cramping and couldn’t stand up to stay alert ”
“February 1, 2020, at 1:47 PM. I purchased 3 Haagen Daz ice creams, 14 oz size, assorted flavors, at this store. The first one was consumed immediately, the same day. It appeared to be OK. The second one was consumed later that evening. The second one seemed to be OK,... but as I got closer to the bottom, it was obvious it had not been refrigerated properly. The bottom had melted and then refrozen, before I bought it. Ck'd my freezer, the thermometer showed a temp of minus 5 degrees F.
Developed nausea a few hours later that night, then extreme fatigue for the better part of a week, Notified the store manager, of the refrozen ice cream and asked him to ck with his vendor to try to prevent future occurrences. He sent me an email a few days later indicating he wanted to discuss it with me. Saw him Feb 7th, Thursday, at the store. I told him I wanted to discuss it as well but was in a hurry, would do it later when it was mutually convenient. He, not to be put off, followed me down the back stairs and started an apparently prepared speech. YOU ARE MAKING A LOT OF COMPLAINTS. IT SEEMS WE CAN'T PLEASE YOU. NO ONE HAS EVER COMPLAINED BEFORE. He even quoted the ice cream vendor, who was not present, as saying, he, the vendor had never a complaint about melted ice cream, he repeated his speech several more times with the additional filip that, "YOU WOULD BE HAPPIER GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE.”
As background, the store freezer, full of ice cream, had malfunctioned a short time before that. Many pints of ice cream had melted but were refrozen when the freezer came back on. I mentioned to him, at the time, those ice creams should be disposed of. The vendor or he may have been putting a few pints of refrozen, spoiled, ice cream back in the freezer in an attempt to minimize the dollar loss.
Whatever the cause, spoiled ice cream should not be sold. Telling customers to go somewhere else is not an effective way of dealing with concerns about spoiled products. They and the Health Department need to take the necessary steps to prevent future occurrences.
“Super burrito 3 people got sick. It took about 5 hours for symptoms to show. Nausea was first it lasted about 7 hours. We couldn't sleep. By 3am we started sweating. And then the stomach pains. It took about an extra two hours for myself to experience any pains .... I was first to vomit ”
“Steamed KingCrabLegs With 30 minutes of eating the steamed king crab legs which really I should not have eaten because they were cold but I assumed they were making sure that they weren't sitting out longer than they should. Anyway I ate 3 king crab legs, 3 hush puppies which... were warm and tasted fine e and a very small slice of prime rib which was sliced fresh and was warm. So the crab legs must have been what made me sick. There was only o e bite that tasted funny but it was one of the last pieces that I ate. Within 10 minutes I started feeling grumbling in my stomach and 10min later I went and threw my guts up ”
