On 2/18/2018 I had their ham and Swiss sandwich with tomatoes, onions, lettuce and mayo. Along with their broccoli cheddar soup and the French baguette. I ate it at 1pm and by 3pm I was throwing up. I threw up every 20 minutes until about 8pm. I also had diarrhea and bad stomach cramps. The next day I couldn't get out of bed without feeling nauseated. The only thing I can keep down is apple sauce. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps

See More reason I'm currently struggling not to vomit while on the toilet with a really bad stomach ache. I went to the restroom at the restaurant too before I left but just had to pee, it didn't seem very clean, there was what looked like actual dirt from the ground somehow on the walls and the toilet paper was annoyingly high up despite there being only one stall and it being what looked like the size of a typical ACCESSIBLE stall... I felt fine for about 10 minutes after I left and THEN it hit me. I was gonna walk back to the mall but ended up running into Home Depot instead to find another restroom quickly. Almost puked on the street. The experience there today was overall bad for a LOT of reasons, so I highly doubt I'll ever go back to that food place. Edit: I would've posted the receipt but they didn't give me one to keep. I got one with a barcode to scan at the counter to pay for it and wasn't given a different one or that one back. Left with free Diet Coke refill I'll probably dump or drink flat later because I don't feel like I can put anything in my mouth and keep it down right now. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain See Less

Raja Foods LLC of Skokie, Il is recalling its 3.5 ounce package of "SWAD CINNAMON POWDER" because it has the potential to be contaminated with lead. Product was distributed thru retail grocery stores in the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast regions of the United States. There have been... See More no illnesses reported to date.

Short-term exposure to very low levels of lead may not elicit any symptoms. It is possible that increased blood levels may be the only apparent sign of lead exposure. Additional signs and symptoms of lead exposure are more likely with acute exposures to higher levels of lead or chronic exposure to lead. While lead can affect nearly every bodily system, its effects depend upon the amount and duration of lead exposure and age/body weight. If a child is exposed to lead for a protracted period of time (e.g., weeks to months) permanent damage to the central nervous system may occur. This can result in learning disorders, developmental defects, and other long-term health problems. For adults, chronic lead exposure is associated with kidney dysfunction, hypertension, and neurocognitive effects.

The products included in this recall are, SWAD BRAND CINNAMON POWDER in clear plastic 3.5 OZ bags, UPC 0-51179-34280-4, from either of the following two batches and Best Before Dates: Batch KX21223 Best Before July 2026 and Batch KX08123 Best Before March 2026.

The recall was the result of a routine sampling program by the FDA.

Consumers who have purchased “SWAD CINNAMON POWDER 3.5OZ” are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

If you are experiencing symptoms after eating this product it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist seek medical attention.

About 24 hours ago on March 12th I purchased chicken breast at Publix on rivers edge. When I got home I cooked it. Because I was cooking other dishes and using seasoning, I didn't initially realize the smell. I took a bite out of the chicken and... See More it tasted absolutely disgusting. It tasted completely off. I smelled the chicken more closely and it smelled vaguely rotten. The smell got worse after about 15 minutes as the chicken cooled. I called the store and they apologize, gave me a refund, and accepted my return of all the other chicken that I purchased that day. I am concerned that there is a bigger issue at hand, either at the store where the chicken is not being kept correctly, or in transport. It makes no sense that chicken that was supposed to be good for another week was immediately rotten when I had purchased it from the store that same day. Now, 24 hours later, I'm experiencing nausea and gi issues. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting See Less

My family and I visited Tahini in Mahogany Plaza on March 5th. I had the Gyro Shawarma, and my kids shared a Jamaican Jerk Chicken Shawarma. Unfortunately, we all felt sick about 20 minutes after eating. When I called to inform them, the response from the staff... See More was dismissive, which was concerning given the seriousness of food making people ill.

I'm sharing our experience to caution others potentially considering this establishment. Despite their claims of offering healthy food, our experience suggests otherwise. There are many genuinely healthy dining options in the Mahogany area, and I recommend exploring those instead. Based on this experience, we won't be returning to Tahini. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
