October 22nd 2018 my husband and I bought two pieces of salmon select cuts from the seafood dept. Cooked it for dinner then the next morning both my husband and I were violently ill. My husband was so ill that i had to take him to the ER.
I did notice a stronger then normal smell from the fish but thought why would they sell old fish. I wonder if anyone else got sick as well. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting

About 24 hours ago on March 12th I purchased chicken breast at Publix on rivers edge. When I got home I cooked it. Because I was cooking other dishes and using seasoning, I didn't initially realize the smell. I took a bite out of the chicken and... See More it tasted absolutely disgusting. It tasted completely off. I smelled the chicken more closely and it smelled vaguely rotten. The smell got worse after about 15 minutes as the chicken cooled. I called the store and they apologize, gave me a refund, and accepted my return of all the other chicken that I purchased that day. I am concerned that there is a bigger issue at hand, either at the store where the chicken is not being kept correctly, or in transport. It makes no sense that chicken that was supposed to be good for another week was immediately rotten when I had purchased it from the store that same day. Now, 24 hours later, I'm experiencing nausea and gi issues. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting See Less

I wasn’t sure if it was the cheese. I ate it with my meal two nights ago. After about 3, 4 hours my mouth started feeling dry and I knew I had to vomit. This was around 1am I went to the bathroom literally 8 times that... See More night and even started vomiting up bile due to nothing else being in my stomach. Today is the next day and I feel better. February 21,2024 . Last week. I had purchased a Danish Custard pastry from Checkers, Hartebeespoort. There was mold in it. I have been to a doctor who prescribed medication for my symptoms
I purchased a Danish Custard pastr from Checkers Hartebeespoort Wednesday 21 February 2024, I had... See More eaten into the pastry and halfway through noticed a rotting/mold on the Custard as well as the pastry was burnt. Immediately I stopped eating the pastry. I emailed Checkers Hartebeespoort and they offered me a replacement and brushed it off, I asked the representative "how can you replace something that made me sick I have already lost trust in Checkers " I then found a Complaint number on Google and sent a whatsapp message with the pictures. I then got some Gaviscon and Immodium as since then I have had an upset, runny tummy. Eventually on Friday I went to see a doctor as these symptoms have not stopped. The doctor has given me medication and today 5 days later I am still in pain with the same symptoms, no one has contacted me today. Last week when I had spoken to someone else from Head Office she had told me that there was mold on the pastry. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting See Less
