At around 3pm I ate chicken poppy seed salad with lemonade. Spent there at about 1.5 hour,there was friend with kinds. After I left and started driving away felt like I'm ready to trow up. soup from the same restaurant on December 13 (3 days ago). I spilled half of my soup and only ate half of what was remaining but that afternoon I developed stomach cramps and diarrhea. It has lasted several days. Not as severe but are a smaller amount. On March 13, 2024, the producer was notified of a preliminary positive test result. Further laboratory testing, completed on March 18, 2024, confirmed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in the raw milk sample. The producer is now prohibited from selling raw milk until subsequent sampling indicates that the product is free of harmful bacteria.

Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium that can cause listeriosis, a serious infection particularly dangerous for young children, the elderly, cancer patients, and others with weakened immune systems. It can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women. It is important to note that raw milk does not provide the protection of pasteurization, which is the process that kills the bacteria responsible for numerous illnesses and diseases.
