On March 16 2026, my friend and I went to Seoulmate Kitchen in the Santa Barbara Public Market at 8:15pm. I ordered a Gochujang Mac N Cheese and paid for my friend's matcha, all to go. We sat in the Victoria Court afterward where I ate half the Mac n Cheese, expressing how good it was. We hung out on State Street, stopped at Yogurtland for a large amount of froyo, and parted ways at 10pm. I arrived home at 10:15, reheated the food on the stove and finished it entirely. I went to bed around 12am and was later woken out of my sleep by severe stomach pains that wouldn't subside. They began at 4:30am and immediately got out of bed to address them. I spent 15 minutes on the toilet having painful diarrhea, vomiting into a wastebasket, and sweating so profusely, drops of perspiration surrounded the toilet. The pound of frozen yogurt I had eaten between the servings of Mac n cheese was digested and the only thing coming up my esophagus was gochujang flavored orange chunks of pasta. I had to take a shower before returning to bed. They night of the 17th and current day of the 18th, I still experience stomach pains that necessitate a a trip to the bathroom to squirt hot pain out of my ass. My friend's matcha didn't destroy him so at least their liquids are fine. My first and last time ever going to Seoulmate Kitchen. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Sweating
