“On July 28 at 10 p.m., I went to Worcester to visit a friend. We decided to order food from Shangri-La .
My order was beef with broccoli, which came with rice. My friend ordered fried rice. The food arrived around 11 p.m. Around 3 a.m. on Sunday, July 29, we both woke up with diarrhea, stomach pain, and nausea, and were feeling extremely weak.
At 3:30 a.m., we were so sick that we had to find a 24-hour CVS to buy some medications, but those medications didn’t help much. We both continued to be very sick all day on Sunday.
At 8 p.m. on July 29, I went back to CVS to get more medications. The diarrhea didn’t stop all day long on Sunday and Monday.
On Monday, 7/31, I called the restaurant and told them about the food poisoning. I also called my doctor to make an appointment, and was able to see a provider on Wednesday, August 1.”
