What I Ate:
Ghee rice with beef curry and beef fry (takeout)
Symptoms:
Severe stomach pain, diarrhea (6–7 times), sweating, shivering, fatigue
When Symptoms Began:
Next morning (Friday, June 27) — around 6–8 AM
Details:
I ordered takeout from Spice Mart around 6 PM on Thursday. The next morning, I woke up with intense stomach pain, and had to use the washroom multiple times (6–7) before noon. I was sweating, shivering, and couldn’t function at work — had to leave early and rest at home.
I’ve had stomach issues before from this place, and several friends have had similar reactions. I later found out their March 2025 health inspection had 7 critical and 4 non-critical violations, including unsafe food handling, poor sanitation, and improper cooling — this is publicly listed on the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit website. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Chills, Headache, Fatigue, Sweating
