Food Safety Report - Chili's, Surrey British Columbia

2 years ago reported by user-ykpcv776 business

Stagg Slow Burn Chili, Save-On-Foods, King George Boulevard, Surrey, BC, Canada

7320 King George Boulevard, Surrey, V3W 5A5 British Columbia, Canada

I had a can of Stagg Chili and very shortly after experienced upset stomach, and explosive diarrhea which became a problem 90-120 minutes later. Had 4 trips to the washroom in the last 2 hours, all of which have been awful and uncomfortable. I can handle spicy foods normally, this so called Slow Burn variant of Stagg Chili was a Fast Burn that lingers, and I do not recommend. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Cramps, Stomach Pain

Hi, thanks for your comment. TIP: You can get food poisoning from chili. While chili is typically cooked for long periods killing most germs, improper cooling and reheating can lead to Clostridium perfringens contamination. Chili food poisoning symptoms can begin as soon as 6 hours after eating and include Diarrhea and cramps. Have a great day!
