Camping Sandwich Sickness Strikes - Subway, Boron California

The employees were very friendly and made great looking sandwiches... BUT BEWARE FOOD POISONING!!! On May 17 at approx 9pm I ordered my food and then sat in my car to eat my sandwich. Within two hours of eating half of my footlong cold cut I had violent diarrhea with cramping, nausea and vomiting fever and pounding headaches for 18 hours while I was outdoors camping! It took over 24 hours to start to feeling normal again. Such a horribly near death experience I will never in my life eat from again! I ordered a cold cut combo on Italian herb and cheese bread with pepper jack cheese (not toasted) with toppings; lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, onion, pickles, olives and yellow peppers. I suspect it was the lettuce that was the culprit but BE WARNED!!! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps, Headache
