Cereal Recall Concerns Persist - Target, Albany California

The other day I ate like half a bag and immediately felt horrible like I was getting sick in every bone in my body- fever, chills but I didn’t think it was something I ate I thought I was getting sick I had to go home rest the rest of the day..But I was fine the next day but now I know it’s the cereal bc I just ate some was fine and then I ate it and feel like I have a fever, aches, like I’m getting really sick! This happened the other day but I didn’t think anything of it now I’m realizing this feeling only starts after eating the cereal! So I looked it up it said there’s a recall on the cereal bc it’s contaminated with metals, but I bought the Cinnamon toast cereal and that one is not listed on the recall. I don’t know what’s happening!

04/23 update: The second time I ate it I only had one serving maybe 1.5 servings, and within 30 minutes started feeling awful. Like the same type of feeling I got when I got the Covid vaccine, that’s the closest comparison I can come up with. But I could literally feel my system rejecting something/ trying to fight off whatever it was I put in my body. And I am plant based and super health conscious, but these ingredients look harmless! It’s not like it has a bunch of junk in there that’s why it’s very concerning. Plus there WAS a recall due to metals being in the product, and that would seem about right, considering the way I felt. But I think they need to recall it again and test for metals still being in there. | Symptoms: Fever, Headache
