Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, ChillsSuspected source: Unwashed Kale and Mint from a salad. It could also be a component of the Balsamic Dressing. I had a spoonful of off-tasting yogurt with granola and fruit. I had suspected there was something I was allergic to in the granola, but no allergy information is posted on the ingredients list of their [the restaurant’s] granola.
Onset: Less than 4 hours
Duration: 12 to 24 hours
Additional information: My vomiting reaction may have been a combination of eating unwashed or contaminated salad, and then eating something that may have had an allergen in it. I understand my responsibility as someone with allergies is to ask before I order, but there is also meant to be an allergen warning clearly posted either on the menu online or physically. I could not see any. I felt my symptoms of a scratchy throat and discomfort. I thought it was an allergic reaction, but it was not, given that I had no swelling of the lips or throat. I don’t know. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, Chills
