Tuna Odor: Paint-Like Smell - Trader Joe's, New York New York

I bought a can of Trader Joe's "Albacore Tuna Fish in Olive Oil with salt added" (Green label) on April 19th. I have bought this type before. The Tuna in this can smelled like paint or plastic. A very, very strong odor. I like an idiot ate a fork of it, thinking maybe it was ok. It was not. I got a stomach ache, mostly cramps, and nausea. I think I ate too little for any worse symptoms but do not know. I put the bowl in my refrigerator and it made the inside smell, again like paint, or plastic. I threw it all out. I should have kept the can and a sample, but it smelled so bad. I remembered there was a recall on Trader Joe's Tuna, not sure this kind, but there was something terribly wrong with it and I have bought this type before. Never again.
